Yup plain old 3k. came out of a mates crashed ke30...so i knew it ran. Ive got a 4k as well but i never saw it run and was to lazy to pull it appart lol. the power difference wasnt worth the trouble.

was wondering the same myself. looks pretty good in the pics. Any rust? chuck a magnet on the bottom of the rear quarter and front, if it don't stick well compared to a door or somewhere you know has no rust/bog then you'll know if its been bogged a lot or not. Might be worth checking before you spend a shitload on a conversion, also have a good poke around with a screw drive on the chassis to see if its rusty ;-)

Rito got the engine in today. wrapped the loom in that plastic stuff not sure what its called but the pictures show it. Stocked to have to motor in....might even have i running some time tomoro. heres some pics of what it all looks like: Tomoro ill be tidying up the wiring and gettign the electric dizzy wired up right...atm its just sitting in there not fixed anywhere, pretty much just pulled it through and plugged a few things in.

Few more things done....Gonna stick the motor back in tomoro and start pulling the wiring through. so i go the brakes rebuilt today, hand brake set up, pedal box in and gearbox under.

The box is a monster....and the car will be. can't wait to see what it ends up like.

Rito guys heres the update. been back home yeasty and today so got some stuff done. pics pretty much show it....painted inside, put new wheel bearings and shock (exchanged the corolla one i got for vn wags rear shocks...should help stiffen it up). Stuck the brake lines booster and master back on ....very happy with what i got done....still waiting for brake shoes so the will go on next fortnight. heres some pics Another makeshift spray boot

Mate just got a price one putting a w5x on a 4age cause he fu**ed his t50, bloke told him round 1500...but that was at a tranny mechanics so would be cheaper if you do it yourself. Then stick a 16v with forgies (toyota still sell stock gze pistons from what i hear) and boost in front of it and your off. Thats roughly what ill be doing when I'm out of uni and full time work again (Have money for it lol). Or just the good old stock 4age-t50 rig and keep your foot flat. or buy one done...almost always cheaper. just my thoughts.

lol..i have this problem to with my stock AM radio in the ke55 (turned it on to see if i works the other day)..can't be f@$ked to fix it..never listen to it lol. although mine is a ticking so I'm thinking it the coil somehow...meh...just adding my 2bob

bit more common than the 14's too. I tried to find some second hand rubber for 14's (175/75 or 185/65...anything) no on had any (in taree that is btw lol). So 15's second hand should easier...good for a burn at round 25-35 each fitted

well the smaller the cheaper. 175/75-14 are only 80buck for one that aint retread. but 15 look a fair bit better and tires arnt a bomb for them either

might end up in more trouble there with no vacuum on the brake booster lol. but still some people lack brain cells in the driving department (i count myself in that sometimes lol). ill sign it lol

Found my camera after all. here the last thing i got doen befor i came down. put the bakes back together all painted up. hope i stays on for a little while befor it decides to peal off. will wait and see. Also i blew the head gasket on the ke55, as you can see by the milky oil sitting on top of the valves (shoudl have seen the milk shake that came out the bottom. lucky there easy to fix, gotta love the k motor!

yeh seabiscuit, ill try my best but i don't think itle be a problem. I'm way to exited about getting it done and being able to drive it to let it sit to much longer. but just figured out i wont be able to work on it for 2 to 3 weeks now, but thats when ill be spraying the inside so after that happens ill pretty much put the whole inside back together. New black carpets on the way and some brake parts for the back drums and some new bearings. As do I
