it can be a really worn out c.v. joint?does it happen when you make a right or left turn too?

look at the latch mechanism and picture how the latch works first,and then if the grill is already damage,remove completely.use a flat blade screw driver and just pry the latch of the hood part and it should pop open.

lever it off and once removed repack with graphite lithium grease and hold boot with cable ties or clamp.but if the other joint that pivots (connected to hub) has a torn or noisy you might as well replace the whole c.v. joint.

its worth nothing!

taking the g/box off is much easier than removing the engine and g/box together.drain g/box fluid, remove lower control arm bolts,cv`s,support engine and remove starter motor and bell housing bolts. if you remove engine and g/box together you need to remove plenty of components,a/c p/s pumps heater hoses,radiator...etc.i`m just trying to make a point here which is less time consuming and practical.

the RPM wants to climb so more but the video was cut short,i bet its a sweet ride?super nice!

cv`s you can get for $80 trade brand new outer so there are cheap as and i get them from Sydney Drive Shaft.

timing belt i think needs replacing every 150 thou kms?use a timing belt kit if available?this is easy mate as you have plenty of room between the chassis and front timing cover. oil leaks on rocker covers,i suggest you replace the rocker cover on the right and left banks using genuine gasket as aftermarket just expand and leak in no time. last thing the rubber plug(60mm diameter?) behind the cylinder head too.

any exhaust shops can do your exhaust problem as its a custom job.where are you located? SSS can supply you an engine or Jap Imports,Just Jap. intake can be found in Ebay or custom made by asking your exhaust shop some mandrel bend pipe and some silicone flex joint?

when you install them back use vaso around the seals and o`rings

i use Momar brand called Miracle tool.has anyone used this?it works well too!

i suggest you replace the nuts,bolts and spring washer too while your at it,so next time you wont have any problems besides the uni`s? :D
