does any1 have a AC bracket for sale for cheap :sob: out of all the k series motors i have ever owned of seen over here in NZ i can't say i have ever seen 1 yet with AC lol. i am thinking bout running 2 40mm dellorto's (as i benn ofered 2 near new 1's with manifold for NZD$400) and making up an alloy plenum. the motor itself is in a bugeye kp starlet. and i am going to intercool it via a standard S14 silvia 'cooler. the charger will be running standard boost so i just trying to get a rough idea of what is going to be needed for such a set up for now as ill be looking to do it in the next 6months to a year ( i like to have everything sorted and set in place so its just a matter of only haveing it off the road for a weekend while the wprk is being done as its my dailey driver )

hey try www.trademe.co.nz i no its a New Zealand based auction web site but we always have 3kb twin carb manifolds with cars and linkages on there ready to bolt on. + the bonus to that is if you just bolt 2 factory 4k carbs to the manifold it is going to go overrated and be a shit load cheaper than looking into re-jetting anything to suit ur motor.

hey guys, i am looking at supercharging my worked 5k witch is currently in a kp starlet (i no this is a rolla site but the motors are the same biggrin.gif) a mate of mine has done it to 1 of his 4k's. but whati want to do is, will i be better off running a webber carb and jett it to work as a blowthrough setup, or go for a set of 35mm sideys and make up a custon intake plenum attached to them. the charger is going to be a toyota sc12 or sc14 and is going to be intercooled via a factory S14 silvia 'cooler. i no i am going to have to get a new cam for the motor as the one in it at the moment is just far far to aggressive (will bearly idel it so lumpy but i just love how hard it ruts haha people think i have a rota in it) so i will get a custom cam ground for it. i just can't think of what else i am going to need apart from sort out the carb/carbs,a b.o.v, custom piping to the chrger and from it to the cooler them intake, new cam and of course a supercharger. there is lots of people over here (new zealand) that just go for turbo setups that why i want to be diffrent, i no superchargers have limeted flow to them but i will only be running standard boost (5-7psi) as i don't want to pay thousands for custom forged pistons and i want it to be as reliable as can be as it's my dailey driver. all the work will be carryed out by myself and my flat mate. any help you's have would be great. and if i have missed anything for the set up let me no biggrin.gif cheers, Brodie (reTRD)

my mate over here in NZ as got a worked blacktop 20V turbo in his kp starlet and he used a FD RX7 item as they have good flow rates in them factory. just a thought :dance:

overrated he pm'ed me today saying that and that i should see it mid next week so as soon as i have it ill be making the order. once i have ill let you all no. it is going to take bout 5 days to make the kits as they are custom CNC'ed out of billet alloy (so they really are going to be "the shit" :dance: ) then bout 3-6 working days to get to me and them from there 3-10 days via airmail to Taz Rx in tassie for distrabution to you's :dance: finally everything is faling into place. a very big thanks to all involved, and a even bigger thanks to Taz Rx for all his help, you rock dude!!!! ,Brodie (reTRD)

only $600 :dance: thats a bloody great deal. my mate brought 1 not to long ago from a guy over here in NZ and payed like $5000 for it. but is should be in a musem tho its that clean he only the 3rd owner.

sounds like you's got it sorted :bash: i was going to say do something like that to keep the fees down. that way there is only 1 fee and if ya half it ,it should be stuff all. harun has my bank details so you's sort out who is going to deposit it (can you put "gilmer kits" as a reference so i no what the $ if for when it shows in my account please.)

don't sell it dude. these little set backs happin with old cars. i understand its hard with very limited $ but maybe next time it comes to getting a new notor just buy one even if u not hear it running and tear it down and fully rebild it my 5k cost me $2000 all up and thats new everyting a lumpy cam and port/polish and head skimed, its only got extractors running into a standard exhaust and running a standard 4k carb but still smokes "v-tec"honda integras. that just my $0.02c. but you have worked so hard on this so far and trust me once you got a rebuilt motor you will be in love with the car all over again :lol: . good luch bud, Brodie(reTRD)

hey guys, i got a mate after a new windscreen rubber for his overrated ke10. he is also after 1 for a ke20 is there anypleace over in aussie that does these aftermarket? i have tryed everywhere over here (New Zealand) and just can't find anything witch is a dissapointment as i work for Novus autoglass :) . any help would be wicked. also if any1 can find any for a kp60 (bugeye) 2dr Starlet please also me no as mine is getting abit past its useby date haha. thanks heaps mates.
