That thing is pretty messy...Last time we did a head gasket we just went nuts with a wire brush to clean everything up...and then chucked it back together....it held up ok with 10psi :yes:

Yes you can put low profile tyres on those rims....I would recommend 195/50/15's...and tyre prices vary depending how good you want your tyres to be. Should be able to get some cheapies for around $100 each.

Progress on this vehicle has all but stopped....It hasn't even been washed in weeks, and I can barely see out the rear window for dust and crap....Stupid carby pissing me off. It's Summernats time again...I am thinkin about lowering it and putting wheels on it so it looks a little better driving around the area while I look at cars...it's currently 4am, and I finish work in 3 1/2 hours....and the nats starts tomorrow....So I have tomorrow to do it, along with sleep...etc.. So I don't know if I will bother, but I do like a challenge. If it happens....it will be pretty low...just for a bit, but hey it might inspire me to f@$k the weber off and put a standard carby on it so I don't hate the car so much...then I might even finish what I was meant to be doing to it weeks ago! :yes: SICK :y: OF :) BLOODY :bash: CARS :bash:

You don't have to lip shit if you get the correct offset....I had 17 x 7 on the back of my KE30 and they went nowhere near the guard....As has been previously stated....it's all about offset

Some of our cars can't be replaced by an insurance company handing over cash....How do you put a cash value on the memories and hours spent fixing/modifying a vehicle. Having insurance on my car would not ease my pain at all if it was stolen. It's also not easy to get insurance on every car for everybody...I was 17, just got my license and driving a V8 Falcon, do you think anyone would insure me? Not likely... I for one have saved money by not having insurance thus far

That's WAY too much trouble :yes: I painted my white wheels as I bought them...I washed them quickly and painted them...the paint never comes off.

I always use engine paint as a base coat...then cheap supercheap $2 paint on top....they last good
