I have harassed Nick from time to time, mostly about the commodore radiator in his KE30...I asked for pics and info, and got a quick reply with pics and exact info I needed...so I have found him to be helpful and friendly...as I have with Simon also...The only reason why Simon would probably be better suited is that he seems to be around much more, and that after a long time in a position Nick seems to have lost some interest, which I can totally understand. I'd hate to see Nick leave the site though, he has cool cars, and is always doing something interesting...and has ALOT of knowledge that can assist members of this site. My 2c

It gets attention from people who like corollas because for anyone into the KE3x series shape...it's pretty much perfect...then you went ahead and put the toughest 4 cylinder on earth in it...FJ's ROCK!!! and it's been done tastefully and well...I'd cut off my own arm to own this car, but know that I lack the dedication and skills to put something like this together...which is ok, it just means I look at yours :thumbsup:

Because people are too f@$kin lazy to take out a simple ad in a newspaper and let someone who actually WANTS the car to come and give them cash for it...

Please read I personally think this is a little harsh considering the person is a new member...perhaps a nicer way of letting them know these things might be a more intelligent way to go about it hey? I'm sure if someone has what he needs, he can provide them with specific details to work out postage...perhaps he doesn't want his post code posted on a website for all to see? Sorry dad? I understand the fact that the rules need to be enforced...but this is more of a public humiliation than a nice way to welcome and teach new members...Perhaps he has never used a forum before, and didn't realise that when the page f@$ks out and he presses submit over and over that it posts several times...I know I didn't know that before I joined this forum...and had, after 11 posts, someone written this in this manner to me, I would not have come back to the site. Without new members we do not continue to grow....with harsh silly worded mod posts like this...we do not encourage new members, and look like some other nazi law enforcing sites that I wont mention...rules are rules yes, but people are entitled to make mistakes...try teaching instead of acting like his father when he's been a naughty boy...I mean, he just wants some parts...I'm sure he didn't mean to be a "triple threat" to the rules and be shut down in such a nasty way.

Speedo cable? The cheapest option would be to buy a f@$ked manual KE70...that way you get everything you need....and you can sell parts, obviously this is a space pending suggestion.....You sure you can't do it yourself? It's not the hardest job in the world...and it is good experience.

f@$kin nice XT mate!! I love the XT's and XR's also... I agree that the prices for XY GT's and especially HO's are stupidly high...I myself would rather own an XY fairmont...less hassles about being badged etc...But you cannot deny the fact that the XY GT is and always will be an aussie icon. HERE HERE

A Rotary Corolla is going to have a little bit better power to weight ratio than a 351 XY....So therefore a higher skill level will be necessary to be able to do what he is attempting to do without spinning out every time round like he did. I was taught to drive well, with full respect to the fact that I was in a powerful, very torquey vehicle....And as such, haven't managed to wrap myself around a tree :D

The car is a genuine GT and had just undergone a 95K rebuild....It doesn't matter if he has 500 spare shells in the shed, it's still heartbreaking...and hardly what I'd call "no biggie" And sorry but if you cannot appreciate the XY GT then you have zero taste in cars...
