Another advantage to go t series diff that you get a bolt rear disc converstion. Grab rear brakes off a 141 or 142 advanti (corona)must be live axle model. Make sure you get axles as well be cause you need the axle retaining plate, not the axles. I would say your plan sounds good ,your got the skills go for it ;) :lolcry: rob

Tow it on single axle trailer if happy to do so ,weights depend on axles size and tyre ratings (most do use light truck tyres for there rateing) I travel about 150 000 ks a year ,do you no how many single axle caravans ,box trailers you see on the side of the road . Not to mention the poor bugar up the f3 with his brand new boat spatted up the freeway ( he was crying literally) Not a good idea unless you purpose build it,and maintain it. Just my 2c worth rob

Also check your radiator hoses are not soft ,they can close up at constant reving . Which it would be on the highway .

Couldnt see it being that hard to do ,as i wrecked one recently the only thing is check where the engine mounts on the poo motor are compared to the 6 cyclinder version. Meaning i can't remember if they choped off (hacksawed)the front two cyclinders ,or rear two,or one either end. :jamie: Every think else should be fairly straight foward. Hi i no its been done before .I just tossing up between 5k (for ease of conversion)or just go 4age . I would like to keep it on carbies ,because i have a couple of sets (1 set 40s 1 set 45s weber) I should mention its a club car not road car .I all ready have hydro clutch and a t50 in it (k-t bellhousing). As well i have a lot respect for the little k engines ,been floging this 4k for 3 years hasnt let me down ever :wink: . Just lacking a bit on the power side. Id be interested to hear what people with 4ages on carbs think,read a lot on it today my head hurts. Because you no i m going to bombard you with questions :wink: Thanks in advance rob

Hi ,does any one no if its possible to run 13inch rims with xt130 struts and sumitomo twin pot calipers. Ive heard yes you can ,but not sure what rims they use :) Ive also been told no way.Currently running 14inch mits rims because the standard 13s hit calipers. any help advice wecome rob

Not sure on swapping internals, but if its idling at 1800 rev vacum advance wouldnt work any way. Most vacum advance diaphams siezed up years ago. Ive never bothed with them .I would be looking else where vacum leak :y: Carby ,do the basics first .
