Ok, soo I've got a 4age in my KE55, got the engine mounts redone so the engine is sitting level and the tailshaft is running true, but the problem is I still get vibration when I rest my foot on the accelerator gentley, and when I'm doing 110 on the highway, its better with tailshaft trued but I'm still have the vibrations from up front. Getting rid of my rims so no more spacers as that was one part. But if anyone has had the same problems please tell me how or what was done to fix it, as Thanks
  2. Wooooops, but not sure bout spacers, can't see by his pictures.Its just spacers are causing me a bit of grief and these rims look nice
  3. man i cryed, that is so awesome. can i ask are the wheels rota rbx's? And the offset is fine, and no spacers needed? i got my 4age engineered in 55, just gotta fix the engine mounts :(

Got a leak and want to figure out the gearbox I'm might have, i have an ae82 4age in my ke55 i think and I'm guessing its the t50 but want to know where i can check, and also I want to find out where the cable or whatever is for the reverse lights as they do not work. i cannot find a cable on gearbox and need them working for the blue slip uhh
  8. got my rear guards plated, failed blue slip as the car has no chasis, the body is apart of the frame :hmm: or some blah blah, found out something new i guess, hence no bog on that or any of the door :/ but cheering only cost me 400 when it was a bit more work then he expected :happy: and got pipe free with it too which was a bonus, ripped out the carpet for the bloke to fix up some of the tears from when the previous guy broke tailshaft n left tears :S not major but blue picked up on it. once thats done I'm puttin on the new doors and goin for check again. where a hell of alot of rx3's n capella's nxt door to the place too but :worship: the bloke owns himself a ke35 and I'm looking for a bonnet for him to if anyone knows in sydney area if possible

  10. haha cheers man, yeh I've used gasless way back at school, its been a while but prefer gas to get a nice smooth weld without bits of splatter :(
  11. nice work man, how much did that mig cost you? I'm lookin at getting one rather then a gasless one, i was thinking of doing sheet and weld rather then bog, as the little spots i have done suck really bad haha
  12. yeh the wheel was gone yep, snapped axle clean haha, had to get a new axle and fix the brakes. Well I needed engineers cert which is done, took out the blocks out n tidy'd up most of the wires..loved it low :fuzz: all I need to do is put it the falcon airbox I'm getting in make a custom centre console at wrk :? some, too easy but i just never remember before wrk. Plus I still have to wait to get the papers for the engineers cert for the blueslip, i can't get pinkslip, i have to get it checked to see if its driveable which it is, good for what it is, i rekon i just need to adjust the gearbox height and yeh bleh had to drill n tap n use slide hammer to get it out, glad my dad had them cause my wrk didnt n i was 1st yr this is her now in the garage playing the hardstyles when I'm bored was keen on buying a silvia or 180sx turbo for a daily but its too close now, n I'm keen on a respray n rims, then putting blocks back in
  13. finally got the engineers cert done, now for the blue slip n then things shall start rolling ;) just need to find a place for the respray
  14. havent got her dyno'd yet, planning on doing that after the engineer cert hopefully this week, and a mass tune up, goes good though, can get it spinning unlike the stock 4k lol
  15. Thought I might chuck her up, I had her for over a year now. Got her with the 4age, slight adjustments were made :) but meh Had lost of fun a bit too much i say quickly fixed up But she's been pretty sweet since then, been planning to do things lately but trying to get rego again is the main problem right now

  17. Just wondering is there any difference between the 4age and 4agze mounts. I was thinking of getting a 4agze rather then another 4age as i wish to do a turbo setup. Also gearbox's, are the different? can't find any topic pages for this conversion thats all
  18. seen all these thing, can get extractors with 2" for 380 so yeh at mt druitt exhausts but waitin til after chrissy thanks
  19. doing a turbo but thats if it will be ok for the 4age engine, extractors n a bigger exhaust, been told turbo's need a better exhaust flow, i don't know lol, just seeing what people roughly payed for extractor setup in a 4age, got money but savin more for the time being

Just wondering how much people payed to get extractors and exhaust setup for the ke55/30, as I'm looking to get setup n havent gone to muffler man near mine, mate says about 600 as he got his straight through on his BA ute for 150. This will be done in a while as I will be putting in a turbo as soon as my mates has swapped over the turbo's in his mitsu gto my bad, i have a 4age engine conversion
  21. hey man can u pm us a price range on how much u spent on this beast, as I'm thinkin of going rotor instead of the 4age all those electrics, i have no idea and can't piss around paying other dickhead mechanics to figure out when they say they know 4age conversions :jamie:
  22. thats where being a fitter machinist or having a mate as one, preferably some with a hell of machines at wrk like mill and lathe centres, would come in hand for sum custom parts
  23. yeh just had a look there is a connection near wiper motor and fusebox but unsure, il get photo's up cause yeh, if the bloke said he couldnt find it, he can sure bullshit as we've been told his deals with alot of 4age conversion etc, n i have seen them outside to, so yeh il take it sumwhere soon, thanks for all feed back helpin me heaps :P the car is in the dp, ke55 81, duno the engine model havent looked might have to check that to find a manual, which is very hard to find but have 4age one of the net :lolcry:
  24. yeh i realised that 4ac was carby looked that up lol my bad it was 4a-G it was scratched n i had a light this time sorry, i havent got a good look down there but diagnostic port wtf someone please explain, is that the port somewhere on the ecu which an 'auto-tap' diagnostic scanner..or comp can hook upto? I'm very new and want to learn some of this stuff to help me :hmm: i just don't want to be pullin things out to check then stuff something cause its my daily ride
  25. :hmm: Diagnostic port, where abouts is it? I'm having alot of trouble, a mechanic i took it to couldnt find it and has done plenty of 4age conversions etc, also ecu's i have a 4ac ecu, that is from an older model 4a engine yeh? please really need the help look on net and find people using motec and haltech ecu's but mine isnt turbo'd or supercharged
