Wtf is with the HID post? I sold this a fair while ago. Regret it now. It never reached the drags. I bought a BA XR6 Manul ute which I managed to pull a high 13 in with under 3k worth of mods. Sold it and driving an Astra atm hahaha. Saving for a house but am looking for some sort of RWD rolling shell.

I didn't know you could fit the Dohc head to the sohc bottom ends?

Pulled a 13.9 at Heathcoat. Nothing to write home about but pretty good on stock exhaust with just a tune, CAI and underdrive. If I end up keeping this I reckon it'll be turned into a very neat daily (I don't drive much daily anyway) and I'll be picking up a A70 or a 31 for a 1j or RB25 project. It's too much of a nice car to hack up and start modding the crap out of.

Update. Got it flashed with just a generic tune for now. pulls a bit harder. Needs a dyno tune though. It's developed a exhaust leak so I'm losing a bit of power through that. Got underdrives ready to fit, CAI is on just need an exhaust then it's off to be dyno tuned. Looking at some stage 1 cams as I don't wanna lose idle quality or fuel economy too much. It's still a daily. Gone back to study though so money is tight for a while until I find work that fits around tafe. Should have it at heathcote before the year ends.

Considering that car was MY EF Showcar which won awards, I think you'd be one of the few that don't like it. I guess originality isn't in your court though. But let me guess, a 4age KE70 takes your fancy? Define your own style. Asshole. BTW, that kit took alot of modification and was respected for how well done it was.

You can get those acid free ones. Have you considered a bbm conversion?

Yeah, thats the one. I'm planning to do it with the 3.46 diff rather than 4.11's. Biggest issue will be wheelspin. If i can get it moving without any wheel spin, i should give the time a tickle without cams. Just need the right rubber and some launch practice.

You know whats cooler than having a worked e-series! Having a worked b-series daily aswell! Oh yeah!

These drivelines really aren't as weak as people have percieved them. My mate's been running a HD clutch into a EL T5 for about a year and a half now. He really gives it a hiding too! In updates, have ordered underdrives, cat and headers (gonna run them into stock exhaust). I've also fitted up a F6 CAI and the ol' K&N panel filter. Gonna put the performance on hold for a couple of weeks now. The bolster on the right hand side of the drivers seat has gone soft and the leathers fading a bit, so that'll be getting a re-trim. Also gonna get a centre console lide made up in leather and get some paintless dent removal on the couple of pin dents it has. Apart from those, not much visually will be happening...Might drop it on lows as I still plan on using this as a daily and for camping, so Super lows will be impracticle. No kidding, it's actually been years. T56 maybe in a few months....gotta get easter out of the way and re-stock that bank account first lol. Be good to have a t56 ba ute as they never had a six speed in the ba utes.

Alright so my mods list goes 20% underdrives CAI Bpr thermostat (more for constistancy than power) Exhaust (probably just high-flow cat and a system thats still quiet) Throttle body Headers Xcal3 tuned by bruce heinrich Clutch Once this is done i'll be looking at 180rwkw's. I'll run some times with this set-up on the t5. Then i'll start looking at some internals. Will start ordering as soon as i get back from easter holiday
