um i can help you with slanty to flat, yes it can be done. you need: - Flat front bonnet - Flat front guards - Flat front lights and grill - Flat front beaver panel - Flat front bumper - Flat front radiator support (can be done without this but you need to make up brackets for the lights, i've done this conversion and the brakcets aren't that hard, but they are a little bit dicky) i think thats about it. basically take off old slanty parts, put on just as old flat parts! the rest i can't really help with, there's a seller in the for sale section on this site that sells chrome bumpers and stuff, but they are still pretty expensive as they're pretty rare. they do look dope tho. PS oh, peddars rear springs are good, i have them, just the sports low, and the peddars short stroke shockies are good too, nice and stiff but also leave a bit of streetability, you can screw around with falcon springs and all sorts of shocks and shit for the rear, but they way i see it, just get whats been designed for it, might cost a bit more but atleast you know you've got the good stuff. :yes: :hmm:

yeah i've often wondered whats the go with the different numbers cast onto the manifolds, i have one with a 1 and one with a 2, they both seem to be the same manifold tho, odd. i'm getting my manifold portmatched to the head and i'm not sure what manifold to use.

alright heres another one then, how do i get my oil pump out, i thought i'd just undo that nut then it'd slide out. doesn't wanna seem to budge. did i miss something or is there something holding her in?

Hey guys, Alec here, just started to strip my 4k due to it being rebuilt (expect a build thread!!!) now i just pulled the sump off, and i looked at the timing chain and it seems to have a twin row timing chain (i think). From what i've read on the FAQ and knowledge base (How To Build A Tough 4k) the 3ks had twin row but the 4ks have single and swapping to the twin is a good maintenance mod. Now, does this mean that this has twin row? or am i missing something here, sorry for the dumb question, was just unsure. heres a pic! cheers!

yea hilltops are shit. i dislike them also becuase they sold out bliss n esso are shit because i met them once and had a cypher (i rap myself) and they were just cocky dicks, not in the fun loving way that Mr Trials or Sketchy Hons, just tossers
