  1. I'm sorry in advance, i cannot help you with your question, but i have one of my own does your 17 hammer with a 20v in it?
  2. sweet build i find it interesting the mods you do to it to make it a rally car. cool stuff
  3. what he said
  4. this also happens to my car, currently doing an engine rebuild so seems like the right time to fix it (not intended to hijack thread :) ) can the contacts be cleaned or tightened?
  5. hey man, i pmed you, need a number so i can contact you about those seat rails cheers bro
  6. what is plate swapping?
  7. I like all aussie hip hop but i like this shit the best, haha. AKA Funkoars, Maundz, Vents One, Briggs awesomenesss haha you guys should check this Goonbag.com Internet Radio sweet internet radio site run by Nevs from aushiphop.com its real cool, tonnes of classic rap and aus hip hop and shit.
  8. seen a corona with a s13 dash and a old cresta with a newer chaser dash ( i think) if you wanna do it, do it. apparently dash conversions are quite easy, except for making all the dials and shit work go for it i say, show me what it looks like.
  9. i don't mean to be narky, but why don't you just measure your current headlights?
  10. random question. i've got a power drain somewhere in my car draining my battery. someone mentioned it could be the regulator? could this be correct?
  11. i read that the steering wheel has to be within an inch size of the old steering wheel. also if you have airbags then you can't replace your wheel unless its with one that has a compatible air bag system. i am in qld and don't hold me to it. i put a smaller wheel on my car (just plain blue sporty 80s looking on) and i've been pulled over multi times and have coppers look over my car (happens when you cruise with turbo imports they think your car is off the hook haha). Instead of questioning the steering wheel they did me for a deflated spare tyre.
  12. what just happened?
  13. repping Mr Trials EP tonight. Might switch over to some Afterhours for a bit of a more mellow vibe.
  14. should do. i'm pretty sure the only difference between a xt130 LCA (bottom arm) and a ke70 one is the xt130 one is a bit longer. don't hold me to that tho
  15. That's a somewhat disconcerting statement.
  16. maybe Peddars and ask them for short stroke shocks for your KE70 or ones that are compatible. Do it right the first time you won't have to do it again.
  17. ^thats happened to me before, got out and the thing was being held on with one nut, not good
  18. I collect classic Transformer figures and skateboards.
  19. wait... catback? 4ks never had catalytic converters did they? why put one in?
  20. my brain hurts from reading that
  21. yeah, this is true, especially for a 20v conversion. It seems to have alot more ancilliary components needed.
  22. haha quad foddle body, are they taking the piss? could be worth getting, but how much time, money and experience do you have? basically, you will have to completely rebuild it. Thats going to take time. I think that a time period of less than 2 months to get an engine, rebuild it and have it running and in your car is a little bit unrealistic. Have a look at some of the engine conversion threads on this site and look at the time frame, and this is more often than not people who know what they are doing. From what you've written it seems that you are new to this type of work. Buy it if you want, in the long run it will probably be cheaper, but remember its a 20 valve and from what i know it requires more modifications than a 16 valve to put in. have a look here http://www.rollaclub.com/board/index.php?showtopic=29506 provided by LittleRedSpirit, he's done the conversion. The auction is only for the engine, so you're going to need the cooling parts, crossmember from an ae86 or a ae71, gearbox, diff, extractors or exhaust manifold, inlet manifold (both these required for a rwd conversion, 20v only came out in fwd cars) distributor relocation parts (i think), an ecu and the list goes on. but go for gold if you reckon you got it in ya GOOD LUCK!!
  23. would help to know what type of car?
  24. i'm not too clued in on 4ages, but you say that it gets filled up before you go places? is this needed? maybe your problem stems from here? where is the coolant going?
