well.............. in me trusty old mazda 323 work machine (fwd) broke the engine mount on the way to work, just 'happned', found a handfull of zippie ties in the back and tied her up nice and tight like, been like that for 2 monts and has survived heaps of flat changes and pleanty of 2nd squeelies in the apprentice race after knock off. also bent exhust bad while trying some hillclimbing, also to and from work, wraped exhust in fire blanket to stop it melting handbreak cable (very nessary) and to stop the rattling. umm what else cd player just sitting in ther glovebox held shut with stickey tape clear sticky tape park light battery held in with rope because much to big of standard holder and now in my ke70 padoc basher origionlay had retern fule line crimped and suction line onto washer bottle, now has magna tank held in with fencing wire in boot with electric pump old gemini radator and fan shroud battery out of cruzer, more rope street sign rollcage and thats about it

any ways i relise its no rolla but never fear i will still be hunting down a rolla its an 86 na hardtop MA70 with 230,000km and only cost $2000, bargan everything works, a/c, windows, mirros, power steering, cruze control and even the LSD seems alrite. its a bit ratty but with a bit of polish and clean up it will come up good i only have one pic taken on my crappy phone but will get later once its out of the shed and nice and shiny engine seems to be running pretty good but whats a fiew things i could do to get her going a bit better? i was thinking of taking off the intake manafold and cleaning it out and getting the injectors cleaned, any other ideas?? my plans are to get it on the road and running good and thats about it also should i be worried that me, a 17 year old p plater will be driving it with a engine and gearbox with 230,000km??

yeah you probs would have to cut the firewall and set it back as far as possible to make it handle semi alrite so yeah fairly hard, unless u know what ur doing i rember reading this somewhere on this fourm

way to much work for having a car that goes hard in a straght line but dosent handle unless you do some serriouls firewall mods

got my peice of junck mazda 323 running again after new set of rings and 2nd pistons because with the old ones the peice of piston 'meat' betwean the ring gaps was all broken away and luckly just stayed in plae at 7000rpm. but never fear I'm tacking down a rolla as we speek, this is just untill then and it was free :) altho i have had to do a fiar bit of work but it came with heaps of spairs so the only thing i had to buy was the rings and gasket kit
