Looking for a KE55 to buy... ?

They force the car to understeer on entry into the corner, but fun oversteer prevails on exit. Compression lock drifting is excellent with them. Parking is shit. To sum up, great for a weekend rally car/paddy basher with small power, shit for anything else.

I'm on about 14-15L per 100. That includes highway, city, and 'enthusiastic' driving. I can get 11s when I'm don the cardigan. I miss the amount of fuel my Rolla went through. $20 over... 8 months?

Thanks heaps to Nobbler for organising, and to his better half for all her effort too. :D All my pics are on the good computer, so when I get a minute I'll sort through them and post up the gems. Hoping the Adelaide crew got off that mountain safely... Which will be forever known as Rolla Spur. The Rolla is called Kasey, named after the lead singer of Stringmansassy, for various reasons. The Bimmer is called Ella, after Ella Fitzgerald. Because she has a loud, beautiful note, is a little on the heavy side, consumption is a little higher than average, but mainly, she's just incredibly beautiful!!

Congrats :P I shall be joining you soon. I was really keen to go to Werribee (my favorite surface), but I was out of town. Team Rolla Club!

Kasey is a 1978 (I think...) Corolla Coupe that I picked up from $275. The wheels I got off ebay for $52, and yesterday I got a SAAS old school steering wheel and boss kit from the wreckers for $22. Had the diff locked and put in last night. :) My mate just picked up a 1980 KE55 sedan. We were both given an orange KE30 sedan for parts. I swapped over the interior from it, with a few weighty items left out... Enjoy! :D

I'd be interested fo shizzle. But I'm not sure how we'd get. If the entire melbourne posse came along, it'd still only be about 5 people...

The wheels and tyres are actually only 10mm wider than the stockies. But look a shite load better methinks! Wait till you see my mate's KE55. We put some centrelines on yesterday, biggest dish I've ever seen. Car looks beastie. I got her to get back into motorkhanas and the like. Howdy peoples, I'm a newbie. Sheqel Ben KE30 Coupe My first car was a 79 Mitsubishi Lancer Coupe with a 2.0L Astron with extractors. Re-sprayed metallic gun-metal grey, completely re-done interior. I'd had it for a little over 2 years, and when I was 16 a mate rolled her. She was mainly used for motorkhanas. The daily driver is Ella, a BMW E34 535iM, remus muffler, k+n with cai, a Powerchip Gold98, series 8 alloys, factory customized interior. But the reason I joined was because of my new awesomeness!
