  1. another idea thats come to mind that actually looks pretty nice (in my head) is a flat red or original red but with a few extra coats of clear to give it a real nice reflection? yes, no, maybe?
  2. cheers mate its been a neverending project but its getting there now, just hanging out to start it up never thought of a matte..but thinking of it now it would give it a mean stance! and be a bit different, keep the ideas and opinions coming guys
  3. as the title says guys, I'm looking to paint my KE20 soon and I'm a little lost on what colour to chase, I'm wanting something thats going to go well with the wheels my current ideas i have considered: Gloss black Gloss black with a green pearl TE27 green (in metalic/or with a slight pearl) gunmetal grey If you agree with any of the above then let me know, if you have other ideas for me to look into let me know also! cheers guys heres a pic of the car to help brew your ideas
  4. hey guys Can anyone tell me where i can get a genuine set of TE27 fender mirrors? also looking for a front lip aswell can't find any here in NZ, well not what I'm looking for anyway
  5. feul filler....yeah i knew that haha yep I'm planning to make up a stainless pipe that will go from the cell to the original filler, talk to your certification guy twinky, phoned mine today and he said what i plan on doing should be fine, like it was mentioned earlyer though the filler needs to be plumbed so it is filled from outside the car
  6. yeah I'm running a filter just before the fuel rail but I'm also running a small inline one between the tank and lift pump, one other question, the fuel cell is foam filled, is it recommended/ needed to still run a surge tank?
  7. Hey Guys Iv got a 60L jazz feul cell I'm wanting to fit into my KE20 corolla, the plan is to cut the floor out of the boot and make up a stainless steel cradle for the cell, i was going to cut the floor and then stitch some 50x5-10mm flat bar around the lining of the cut out so the cradle for the cell can bolt down to it and at the same time strengthen the cut out, will this work or do i need to do more bracing/strengthening? has anyone done it? anyone got pics of drop tank set ups in KE2#s any advise would be much appreciated cheers Morgz
  8. yeah the cusco ones look like the way to go, ill enquire about clerance etc when i contact them, running a 7agte so should be similar to a 2TG

  17. Hey guys I'm having trouble sorting out the mounting of the i/c on my KE20, i really don't want to go cutting up too much of the grill to fit it in but at the same time i want it up behind the grill (for best airflow) but don't want it hanging out for all too see as I'm not into that look iv attached a pic of roughly where i want it but its still just a lil too far forward for my liking and i can't really go back any further without cutting out the front to suit which means remounting my radiator.. whats your ideas, any help would be great cheers
  18. nah its an aftermarket pedal box, same as what your looking at but the willwood item, ill see if i can dig up some pics of it in there, although I'm thinking about re-doing how its mounted as it was feeling like it wasnt quite braced properly when i had load on it using the previous engine setup, as for brakes I'm running s6/7 rx7 brakes on the front and s13 discs on the rear
  19. yep running a willwood triple master cylinder setup, tucks up under the dash behind the speedo
  20. there work meisters, 17x7 F and 17x8 R, originally got quoted 6g for them to be made to suit and thats without tyres, fortunatly i was lucky enough to find a set of a guy over here that happend to be very close to the offset i was after and i scored them for a fraction of there retail price and that was with tyres
  21. cheers guys, will try get some more pics up soon, can't get it out of the shed at the moment as the house is getting renovated and theres scaffolding in the way
