  1. I probably wasn't clear enough becuase I agree with you. All T50s have bellhousings that bolt to the gearbox. If, however, the gerabox in question is a rare (to aust) A-series K50 gearbox then the bellhousing wont be bolt on. It will be integral to the gearbox. Its a fast way to tell the difference between two of the popular cable clutch gearbox options for RWD 4ag engine I took a guess that the mystery gearbox was bolted to a 4ag but may have got ahead of myself there.
  2. ......Assuming its your 4age powered ke10 your talking about. If not disregarding the A-series bit, the rest still applies.
  3. An easy way to tell what gearbox you have is to check the following: If the bellhousing bolts on to the gearbox its a cable T50. If it has an integral bellhousing it an A-series K50.
  4. I think it would be easiest to use a kickdown switch from an older automatic car to turn off your alt. The kickdown switch was located under the accelerator pedal on my old 180b. It used to have an audible click when you pressed the accelerator pedal past about 90% causing the auto to kick down a gear. it would then turn off again once you lifted back passed that point.
  5. They're actually Mitsubishi Starion seats. Sold in Australia in the early/mid 80's for those unsure of Mitsubishi history
  6. it looks like an auxiliary badge for when some prick steals the one on the boot..
  7. I used windscreen sealant as an adhesive and raided the peg basket to hold my new boot seal in place overnight while it set. Does the job. Easy Cleanup.
  8. My mistake. When I saw the dash in the KE10 I guessed the builder must have been a Knightrider fan. I agree on the hole looking better...
  9. Had a look at this car when it was for sale in the Morphett Vale area a year or two ago. From memory the car had a digital dash from an AE86 http://www.banpei.net/blog/ae86-trivia-digital-dashboard
