  1. I had the same problem. check to make sure the carby is sealed correctly (check its tight) as air could be getting in causing it to stall. or you could take it to a carby joint and get them to fix it.

  10. ok . so the cars booked in for next tuesday to go to Wilson Carbies. Just so i can get the correct gear in before then a good base to start with would be? Main Jets pri sec 135 140 <- ive got 100, 135, 140, 145 to play with) Air correctors pri sec 170 190 <- ive got 170, 160, 135, 100) Idle pri sec 45 50 <- this looks good enough from what ive read. Is there any other shops in the west/north that sell jets (other than Thornbury carbies or is that as close as i can get)(don't want to pay another $8 in shipping for a $7 jet from weber) Wilson didnt know if they had them in stock... As i need to buy another air corrector (190) for my setup i think.. Evan I'm looking at you lol...
  11. not sure on idler. i'll have to pull it out and have a look(forgot to write that one down). I'll chuck the new ones in when i get it and go from there.(i'll check today on what the idler and post it up). Just checked idle jets are 45/50
  12. pulled the jets out on the webber air correction 120 - 110 main jets 135 - 100 From what ive read thats too small. So ive ordered some new jets main jets 140 - 145 air correction 170 - 160

  14. Anyone able to identify what weber carby this is? is it a 32/36?
  15. Carbies been rebuilt so its not dirty at all (very clean). just working out what carby it is (32/32,32/36 etc). Thanks for the offer Evan. i'll see how i go if i run into trouble i'll pm you.

Started working on my KE after 6 months of it sitting smashed at our workshop :( now I'm keen to get it back up and running again Ive installed the Weber 32/36 carby and were in the process of replacing the rear beaver panel on the car. Not much left to do before i have it back on the road as my daily (will be dropping the car off once its fixed to get the carby tuned) Heres a pic of how it looks (next few months i'll be replacing the headlights/tail lights and bumpers (to chrome and quads).
  18. Ended up ditching the stock carby and got myself a 32.36 i think. with a redline adaptor plate. modded up a bracket for the accelerator cable. needs tuning as it doesnt want to idle below 1200~rpm. think i'll take it to wilson carbies once its back on the road for a tune.

  24. no worries. I'm going to try whats in it, see if it runs. then i'll take it to a carby joint to get it running right if it doesnt run well to start off. Did a bit of research and someone posted this for 4kc's primary main jet = 125, aircorrector = 180, emulsion tube = F50, idle jet = 55 secondary main = 130, aircorrector = 195, emulsion tube = F66, idle jet = 50
