This was one of my old cars back in NZ, 1 owner '78 KE30 corolla with a 12a 5spd in it Super tidy car, pulsed loud as f*#k Few pics, 17" chromes (ugly but did the job) With 17" Lenso RS5's Ended up selling as a rolling body few years back!

Thanks guys! Yup I'm pretty happy with the purchase. Needs a few wee things doing to the body but other than that its a tidy original car. Yup there seat covers :) Plans are to leave it as it stands, I'm not into modifying original cars (been there done that in my younger days) Plan is to re-do the interior in original colour scheme (seats are torn etc - sun damage 40yrs old) White walls Fix parts of body that need attention (probably respray factory white) Basically a real tidy restoration an ship back across to NZ to join the rest of my corolla family :bash:

Ive had the the KE25 approx 3yrs an the KE20 coming up 2yrs. I have replaced bits an pieces with minter pieces to bring them back to as close to unrestored as posible. No future plans to repower them as you never see originals kicking around in NZ anymore. I prefer to drive the KE25 because its manual, but they both never see daylight being parked in storage. Took the KE25 out of storage an for a WOF (safety check) on tuesday hasnt had one in over a year an passed with flying colours so ill be driving that while I'm back in NZ. I'm looking for a KE20 2dr in overrated condition to ship back if anyone has one??? I have one in Perth but its a bit rough so I'm sticking a 13b in it :P

Hey guys, thought it was about time i posted a few pictures of my KE2# series cars ive got back in NZ. 1st is a 1974 KE25 SL Corolla Coupe Deluxe JDM Version (Japan New - Delivered in NZ in 1974) Speedo in KM's 125,000kms since new 3k 4spd All original condition 2nd is a 1973 KE20 Corolla Deluxe NZ New 50,000miles since new 3k toyoglide All original condition New photos 23-7-2009 Have installed new Vanitan blinds that i brought over from Oz + new guard bezels Few photos of them together...

Spoted a very clean white/creme coloured KE20 on hubbies + whitewalls on Kenwick link! i was in my KE20 gng opposite way! Bloody nice car bro!! Any ones on here?

Deluxe usually means more chrome, different interior trim codes, few small differences from standard base models. your best bet is to download a brochure of the ke2# range will give you a full rundown.

If you were going down the 13b path, check NZ websites, it has been done that many times! I had a KE30 with 12a Bridgy when i lived in NZ. www.rotahavik.co.nz (NZ version of ausrotary) www.trademe.co.nz (NZ version of ebay) those are a couple of websites that can lead you in the rite direction.

Mate brought this off a user on here few weeks back... real tidy wee KE70 Today we made a few cuts in the coils to get this ride height... What ya think? It is getting 17" mags tomorrow so if anyone is keen to buy the mags in the pic PM me

I fitted the 2nd hand cylinder the other evening... it was beter than my existing one. Holds preasure. But i can build up enough preasure threw the lines to the pedal. Suspect the brake shoes are stuff't! Car still stops when i need it too... just have to be weary of everyone on the road!!! Haha if i was to bring my parts + cars over here id have to hire a couple of containers!!!

Thanks for the info... I have managed to find a 2nd hand brake cylinder on here from a guy in QLD, so ill fit that an hopefully that will solve the issues with no brakes. I did manage to find a universal trailor brake master cylinder at Malls on the weekend bolted in perfect, but the thread was wrong for the brake line... so scrap'd that idea. If only i had my parts shed in NZ here with me id be fine :bash:

Check my pics i put up of my KE25 in the KE2# picutres section on here.... It has Factory JDM chrome mirrors that came out on the car new in Japan in 1974 (car is currently in NZ) I have seen them pop up from time to time new (maybe repoductions) on EBAY.

hey guys, Have a F#*KD KE20 brake master cylinder... an having big dramas finding a replacement. is there any universal products that will fit from other brands of cars??? bore size stampt on side is 11/16" let me know if you know of any that you have use'd previously. thanks for the help

Have found a place called "Antique Tyres" in Welshpool that do Paint on white/red walls. its $35 a tyre for 1/2" $55+ for larger sizes Has anyone had these done threw them??? Or know of cheaper places? Should have got some done in NZ $40 a set of tyres!!!

Where can you get "Paint" on whitewalls done in Perth??? Anyone know of a place or places that do these???

The TOYOTA number plate surrounds where a factory extra avalible threw the 70's - 80's here in NZ, unsure if they are a global extra. There quite hard to find also... if i manage to get my hands on a spare set ill let you know... I'm looking for a set for my KE35 also

They have been in storage for sometime, never use them... bit of a shame really but got to save the remaining few left in original form on NZ roads. Everytime there out, someone will ask if i want to sell... straight answer NO!!!
