  1. Of course we will have a rollaclub stand, We have previous years... Teddys AE70 should be the head turner :D
  2. I don't know how you can say that when nobody knows the date yet, Read up above this before you post again..
  3. I heard word, Via Teddy, Via Beerhead that it has been set for a later date near Strathpine somewhere..
  4. How big is the document, Can they be scanned, Uploaded and added to the FAQ/WIKI?
  5. Should be up for this one..
  6. Could be a battery drain from some accessory, Can you turn your stereo or any other aftermarket electrical device on when you have the keys out of the ignition? Yes you can connect a wire directly from the alternator positive to the battery positive (Just make sure its 6mm at minimum or better).. Depends on the alternator, Got a picture so I know what it is? Most don't require it though....
  7. Nice article, Thanks for posting the link for us..
  8. Man that sucks.. Good to meet up with those who came even though it was such a small event..
  9. Firstly, Have you lost all fan speeds or just one? Does it look like the resistor coils on the fan speed resistor have broken apart? Fan blower motors usually have a 2 pin plug that powers the motor, you can test with 12v. Being quite a few years old it may be low on brushes, put your fan speed resistor back in, turn the switch on and give the back end of the blower motor a tap to see if you can free the brushes. May start working then which is a good indication that the brushes need replacing...
  10. Yeah, Its the fan speed resistor, The blower box cools the coils when the fan is spinning, Though after a while they sometimes break and the circuit will go open circuit..
  11. nah, thats out his exhaust..
  12. Pretty easy to do really, When you touch the charge light wire on frame the charge light should come on.. (Or on the D+ terminal when the motor is not running)..
  13. The one you have sounds like an internally regulated alternator. What you need to do is find the charge light wire and connect it to where the other wire will plug in on the back of the alternator. Being Toyota I'm pretty sure it should be a yellow wire that goes to your external regulator...
  14. Mad! Vid or ban! :(
  15. Ramflo = shit Foam breaks up and gets sucked into your motor..
  16. It is not waste spark, it is just a single coil/igniter setup..
  17. QUEENSLANDER!!!
  18. Yes, We primed the surge tank before we gave it the first run..
  19. I have a radiator shroud now, Never did at that stage..
  20. Well worth it once you get them set up right though, Mine cost me a bit to get set up and I never regret doing it..
  21. It will either be the plug from the dizzy is not sending signals back to the ECU or the ECU is not sending signals to the ignitor.. Does the coil/igniter have a good frame connection?
  22. there are 3 plugs for the ecu on a bigport, not 100% sure for smallport, But i'd say they might be similar. Then you have another part of the harness that plugs into the body harness to feed battery/ignition/frame/crank signal etc..
  23. or you could just hardwire your body loom to the engine loom like everyone else does..
