  1. its more likely the wire is unplugged for those lights or the bulbs are blown, they normally come on with park lights (I assume your park lights are working)..
  2. Got the wheel bearings in today and the rotors machined this afternoon, Slapped the hubs back on the rotors too :) Still awaiting cambertops and adjustable coilover setup hopefully some time next week..
  3. why such a large internet bill?
  4. I had to work on a truck today, That's about as bad as it gets...
  5. ROFLMAO @ Plumber axing the structure.. Surely he would have looked at it and gone how the f@$k am I meant to run that without destroying the structure like he did. Surely there was an existing plan for the plumbing and it wasn't just a slap together job? its like me drilling a big whole through someones chassi to run some battery cable, lol...
  6. go the dellortos..
  7. Managed to clean up the rotors and hubs today and gave them a quick shot of black where they were rusting.. Will put the bearings in the hubs tomorrow and get the rotors machined next week..
  8. Other thing you can check, They have a variable resistor to control how bright the dash lights are, its on the right hand side of the steering column, Could possibly be wound right down or faultly. Try wind it both ways and see if it comes on, If not disconnect the wires off the back of it and join them together to bypass it..
  9. So the park light fuse has power either side of the fuse? Do your park lights actually come on when you switch them on?
  10. I would assume coilvers? Depends if you have a set of ae86 steering arms to suit (if they do manage to fit your ball joints?) and you have some other form of strut tops to suit the ke30..
  11. External voltage regulator won't be needed anymore if you have just put a CA18 in it, As your new engine will have an alternator with an internal regulator. Basically the external regulator has 6 wires, Field and Neutral to the alternator, Battery and Frame to the regulator, Ignition and Warning Light to the regulator. You will need to join the Warning light wire back up to the new alternator.. New alternator will most likely need a sense and warning light wire to plug in to it..

  13. As of this afternoon both brake calipers are back together ready to go back on.. (Special thanks to Curtis at work helping me out with them).. Also this morning I managed to degrease the hubs and knock the old bearings out as well.. Plan on cleaning up the hubs tomorrow and giving them a quick shot of paint. Then I need to get the rotors machined..
  14. Think it was somewhere around the $180 mark from memory, Would have been cheaper If I'd Had got the boss to talk them down, But he was out and I was in a hurry to order it..
  15. Front wheel bearing and the strut inserts are both rooted, So I decided to finally get some coilovers made up out of some AE86 struts I have had sitting in the shed. Pulled the struts down and they have been given to Dimitri (Slydar) so they can be shortened to take AE92 inserts (So I can upgrade to TRD's at some later stage). Started cleaning up bits at work ready to go back on when the struts come back.. So far list is.. Brake Caliper Seal Kit. Brake Caliper Pistons. Brake Pads Wheel Bearings Still To Come.. Braided Hoses Machine Brake Rotors Cusco Cambertops (From anthony) Completed struts from Dimitri.. some progress shots of my calipers..
  16. Yeah, I did see you there, Gave my car a rev as I went past you. Was in a bit of a hurry..
  17. oh and yes, if anyone f@$ks with this car, after teddy has his way with them, I'll finish off whats left :D
  18. I should have a spare cold start injector here if you want to try it.. I had it set when the car was up in the air and then shannon adjusted it again before we took it for its first test drive..
  19. Thanks for being so specific of what vehicle/motor you are having issues with. I would suggest you invest in a workshop manual for your motor for a start..

  21. ae86 driving club has a cruise on at the end of the month..
  22. from the B+ pole on the back of the alternator a thick wire should go to your battery yes. That is just where the main relay gets its power source from (B+ = Always powered, Not accessories or ignition switched).. Couldn't really tell you what it does unless I could see the rest of the diagram..
  23. watermarks can be easily removed, plus i have the originals plus more of the set..
  24. Just noticed it wasn't just the wiring diagrams I scanned, Its the pinouts I also created from looking at my own ECU..
  25. http://www.ae82ownersclub.com/showthread.php?t=38 Gee, I wonder where he got that diagram from, Not whored off the rollaclub FAQ much as the pinouts created by me and wiring diagram scanned by me, f@$king c**t didn't even give me any credit..
