Ok, Finally got some work done to the old girl after getting out of my folks place (after it was vandalised and badly dented). Have it at my mates workshop and before christmas I finally mananged to mount the radiator (N14/N15 Pulsar). Got the top radiator mounts and rubbers from an N14 Pulsar and managed to get a set of lower mounts off a AE101 Corolla. Welded the lower mounts to the bottom radiator support and the N14 Pulsar rubber is a perfect fit. Then cut the top mount from the N14 pulsar in a way that allowed me to weld part to the upper radiator support an nutsert it so the top mounts are easily removable.

Matt dropped by today to let me take this for a test drive. I must say I am more than impressed with the motor and its capabilities! Makes me miss the induction sound of my dellortos :( You have done yourself proud Matt, It was no easy feat of engineering but you made it all happen.

Well it has been way too long since the last update. Been trying to get a few things done here and there.. Finally managed to get the T series diff in it a while back. Plan on making my own swaybar mounts to weld on rather than hack my old diff up before i sell it. Today I mounted the accelerator cable i had shortened to the bracket i made. drilled and tapped the adaptor manifold for some m6 bolts to mount the bracket. Also added an extension spring from the bracke to the linkage.

Yeah, can make that happen.

Can drop round tomorrow.

Forgot to mention, I won't be able to make it this weekend. Work party is on friday night and I think I will be a tad hungover Saturday morning..

It was 5.6 degrees outside lastnight when i went to put my washing out. and was still around the same temp this morning when i went to work.. I miss my working heater box in my yellow ke70 :(

as long as you have all the harness' there it should not be too hard to figure out..

That looks amazing! niiiiiiiceeeeeeeeeeeee....

I'm thinking with all the polished stuff my engine is going to have i might even hit them with some black wrinkle paint to break it up a bit.. Will have to find a weekend to drop in to your workshop, lol..

It is amazing how quickly you can lose track of time. I stuggle these days to get time to work on my own project which sucks.. Managed to notch out some clearance for the M8 socket cap bolts in the manifolds the other weekend. Also took some meat off the manifolds for the exhaust/extractors while i was going. Then I found a barb for the vacuum to the brake booster and drilled/tapped the fitting. Hopefully friday I will drop the accelerator cable off to be modified / shortened then I can fabricate a bracket for it.

Wiring Reverse Light Of My T50 Into My 70 Help?
Medicine_Man replied to 4agebj's topic in Car Electrical
Should be the 2 Red/Blue wires on the 6 pin plug on the firewall need to go to the reverse switch on the gearbox. -
Most of it is power supplies for the vehicle harness, alternator warning light, start signal..
-
what fuel pump you going to run in there? making a baffle for it?
-
that sump looks a bit pourous, lol. coming together sweet now. can't wait to hear this engine..
-
Yes, you can buy a new rectifier / regulator / brushes etc new. Best bet is auto electrics australia as they are a denso agent. Find the alternator number and they should be able to cross reference the part for you.

they just replace the old internals of a points dizzy with an electronic module..
