The only reason the loom needs changing is to remove start only when gearbox in park feature. That was the only thing we did to my ke20. In these changing auto-to-manual was a piece of cake but it seems ke55's arent so easy.
Do you have issues with reading the guages at night? I ask cause i thought the same thing but i can't read half my guages at night with the new lights. Does anyone know of any ways to remedy this problem.
Even better grab one of the COME all alloy holden blocks. 5 litre and chuck on one of their twin throttle body set ups or if youve got the money get a 8 throttle body set up. hmmmm its good to dream lol
hmm are you sure they were ke15's? I just ask because their is two ke20s from qld one with canary yellow paint and the other looks grandpa spec but has a 13bt in it. Although these cars are from qld so possibly they arent the same ones.
Yeah ive been in one motorkhana and can't wait to do another one. I'm also looking into doing hill climbs and possibly even some circuit racing and rallying when i get a respectable engine in my rolla.
Hmm in qld i think you can just get a cheap permit to drive in the state forests. hehe i don't suggest it though unless oyu have the money to spend as a couple of hours in the forrest cost me about 500 bucks in parts lol.
Love ke70 i would wait till after you get your roadworthy before you wind it back as the authorities tend to frown on that sort of thing especially considering you have a bogan 6 cylinder in a corolla lol.
