  2. LOL ok i did most things, adrian from john taverna chassis did the resplining
  3. I did almost every thing from pannel work to shorting the diff, cutom tunnel, etc etc etc. I run my own automotive/performance work shop, so its not all that hard for me. this build isnt really a back yard sorta thing. I'm not saying u can't do it but ive spent so many hours making something and then changing it to somthing better and doin it with all the correct tooling etc. if any body does consider doin this in a ke10/11 make sure u fit a ke 20/25 front end. i tryed both and the 20 front end is much better and allows all sorts of adjustment on the suspension some things have changed from the start of the build. its now got a complete ke20/25 crossmember and steering set up in it. chassis was redrilled and new crush tubes fitted for bolt up. all the caster bar brakets where cut up modified to suit the ke11 and refabricated. custom 19mm sway bar to fit around the engines sump. front brakes are 290mm brembo rotors but satyed with a 2 piston caliper as i didnt want to over brake it as its a road car, and to save on unsprung wait. modified ke20 steering knuckles to suit xt130 shortend struts. camry sv21 v6 shocker inserts, adjustable coil overs and cutom strut top to achieve 1.5 degree neg camber as the ke20/25 have a 40mm narrower strut top bolt up to the ke10/11. rear brakes are vs commodore disks with r31 skyline calipers. also running modified original pedal box to suit the relocatiion of the commodore master cylinder. twin vh40 brake boosters
  4. um not don't really no yet, ive gota stay little for the time being for enginers certificate, ive just got 205s on now but could easily fit a 225/235
  5. yeah in north eastern subs of melb, diff is a shortend borgwarner from a commodore with skyline brakes, it fits in very well
  6. thanks mate. yeah there escort bumperetts. they suit the corolla well and show off the louvers in the front pannel

  15. the flares are te27 copies i think, i just searched on ebay and eventually found them, and they fitted perfect. i can't rember what the fron apron is off, it was just some type of corolla. i can find out if people are interested, it did have to be choped and modified. the quater bumbers and indicators are of a mk1 twin cam escort
  16. THANKS GUYS whos good at interior triming, i need headlining, door cards, etc,etc
  17. heres some recent pics
  18. scraped the r31 stuf. camber is to far out. needs to much work to use em.
  19. yeah i will do its almost sorted. believe it or not i borrowed struts out of my r31 skyline drag car and it all seems to work. heres what ive done so far. it might be a bit hard to under stand as just thinkn about my trial and error makes my head hurt. but here goes steering colum, box idler & pitman arms all steering linkages and crossmember from a ke25. chassis needs the front hole redrilled and a suitable crush tube through the rail for the xmember to fit modified ae86 lower control arms as the have large ball joints (to accommodate the weight of the v6) std ke25 steering nuckles the bolt up to r31 struts. but the tapper has been board out to suit the ae86 balljoint r31 skyline struts as they have a large stub axle and a good brake selection and are 114.3pcd ke11 strut tops with a different bearing. il get the part number when its all done and i think il be going coil overs for spring to inner gaurd clearence the cater rods and brakets need to be fited also havnt yet done it but it doesnt look like its to hard iof you know what your doing, but does require cutting and welding as of yet i havnt done the brakes but it will consist of r32 gtst skyline calipers and r32gts 4stud disks. ive choosen r31 as the have larger stub axles with i require for the v6. if you just using a 4 cyclinder either of these will do if you want to use all ke25 the whole thing bolts in and works but every part must be ke25 except for strut tops they must be original ke10/11. u will need caster bushes in the lower control arms as the strut towers on the ke10/11 are 40mm wider than ke25 which will cause slight more positive caster. if you want to run ae86 struts you will need lenghthend ae86 lower control arms( custom made job) or graft ke25 with a ae86 to get the rite length. this also requires a shorter than original ae86 steering knuckle. you can get these from toyo t3 in U.S.A or get them made. they need to be the same length as ke25.... f@$k THAT HURTS MY BRAIN. hope it helps people
  20. i think its all sorted nhillau if you have any questions just let me know
  21. ok sweet. il do the same, and see what we come up with.i tried excactly what you have and yeah no good. I'm guessing it needs the ke25 box and pitman arm. how does it look for camber as the ke11 is 40mm wider in the top strut bolt up which will cause positive camber
  22. HEY. to cut a long story short I'm having trouble engineering my ke11 v6 with stock transfere leaf set up. ive fited ke 25 crosmember, that fits in fine and the v6 fits in the same spot. so thats all good. now, I'm having trouble trying to work out what steering linkages, steering box, pitman+ idler arm, control arms and struts to use. has any one ever done this. please help
  23. I'm goin through it know. apaerntly it can't be done unless your in victoria. comes down to weight vs capacity. lucky I'm in vic and they have their own rules. thats what my engineer says
  24. yeah i know that but i can't access the delco and it cost close to the $1000 mark by the time u do a maffless tune. I'm just borring the wolf v500 off my drag car. i even got a spare loom. so it costs me nutin as i can tune the wolf
