  1. hey i have this exact problem, how did they solve it, ive checkd my earths/grounding, all seem ok. you wudnt be able to throw up a quick pic or a good explaniation as to what they did to fix the problem?, cheers
  2. thanks for ya coments guys :D yeh the tires are 205/40/17 if your going to go 17s on a rolla i reccomend u don't go bigger then 7 wide, 7.5 is just too much like ther ok but thers just a few little hassels and with the spaces for clearance which are usually like 25 - 35 mm they make ya wheels stick out to much and look shit wheels gotta tucked up in the guards :wink: i had mine custom made 15mm which i measured up to allow me just enuf clearance all round and still keep it looking good. some people have been asking me about rotorizing their corollas, i think i will make a dedicated post with full conversion doccumentaion, diagrams and dimensions. possibly do it step by step as I'm in the process of converting my twinheadlight at the moment
  3. hah yea i didnt really liek the shaved bumper look, altho the way it was done is possibly the best job ive seen, buy hey u gotta have the chrome ae! :lol: yeh the 17"s are a tad big ther 17x7.5 as well so they needed 15mm and 22mm spacers cos they rubbed a bit on the body inner guard on the rear and didnt clear the strut in the front, I'm saving up for a set of simmons f90s at the moment 3 piece stagered dish gold centers and polished lip, but those will be going on the red dx when shes compleated. i fully agree with you on the 5spoke and 4studds... I'm a perfectionest and tha way the holes are set really gets at me. haha no one notices tho but i do and yes she gets alot of attention from the police, more attention that a stripper in a strip club haha everything is 100% certifyed and legal tho so they can't do anything :( thanks man :( alota people seem to say its one of the best rotors theyv ever heard, doesnt miss a beat ae haha she certainly is a hand full but thats what i love about it you gotta hold the f@$k on!! not really drivable in the wet tho its quite hard to get the revs up enuf just to get into second and the lsd throws u all over the show :) ahh i love it thanks for the comments guys ive got some updates to throw up later

  5. thx for the comments has to be otherwise the engin would choak... its heavly modified with extensive porting etc etc... its twin 2 1/4" pipes all the way over the dif to 3" then to custom made muffler. il update my orignal post with all the specs so you can see what I'm on about :) cheer

Rotary engins come in 6port or 4port configurations (this refers to inlet ports), generally people use 4port motors to port out etc but mine is a 6port which means it has higher compression and lighter rotors and 3mm apexes, which are very desirable. It also has a Tallport center plate, Which are very sort after because they have much larger inlet ports Suspension is modified corona front struts which have been shortened, runs superlow king springs front and rear also the front arms and stuff are adjustable i think there AE86 or they may be XT130 Brakes, its got Dics brakes all round of a rwd toyota that ran a 3TGTE (1800 dohc turbo) so stud has remained 4x441.3 rwd toyota. Was running AE86 Brakes but these ones ive got now are slightly bigger. Diff is a genuine AE86 LSD, holds up very well mean sideways and skid action lol :y: thats about all i can think of now, but if you got any other questions ask :D cheers p.s: This is my current project 1980 KE70 Twin headlight Delux. has full tan vynal interior very different from any other ke/ae70s ive seen and also the vynal roof which i thing makes the car. Also come out from the factory with twin fule fillers and ran both LPG and Petrol. It took me 5-6years of hasselling a old lady to buy this car :) always wanted it from the 1st day i saw it told all my m8s 1 day I'm going to buy that and put a rotary in it..... funny thing was no 1 believed me :y: but Dreams do come true haha and the project is well on its way cheers
