I think you would find (well atleast in australia) that the legislation of crushing cars is actually in direct violation of sections of the constitution, and IF you had enough money to fight the laws in court, you would infact keep your car from the crusher.

hahaha, I did the speed limit pretty much all the way to work today (thats a first! not in a "I'm a hardcore speed racer" type way, but the fact I drive a major freeway everyday where the mean speed is about 20kays over the limit) but still ended up here early due to no traffic and good lights! (ie. No reds!) Also, some douche in a late 90s model lancer tried to race me driving karlie rolla on the way home, he wasnt too happy when I wiped the floor with his girly car! (thats in a hardcore speed racer type way!) haha.

AE92 SXs have it STD from what I know? maybe try to find one and retrofit it. It couldnt be too hard to make, from what I can tell, if there is power to the lights, no power to the ignition circuit and a door is opened (door light circuit) then the buzzer goes.

its not just turbo manifolds AE92 exhaust manifolds looooove to crack and leak. The one thing to make sure of is that they welded the crack correctly (ie heated the metal before welding etc) or it wont stay too nice for too long. You can make use of mild steel mandrel pipe aslong as you get it ceramic coated (in the end steam pipe is the better option)

I currently have 5 low loaders sitting in the yard waiting for me to go load trucks on, its about 27 outside, nice and humid and sunny..... I'm sweating like crazy!

The pressure regulator gaskets will probably be the things that don't like ethanol. The rubber O rings and things will more then likely turn to mush. On a side note, I didnt think E85 was a readily available product in Aus yet (as in sold to the general public, I know I can buy it through the guys I get my racing fuel, but not at servos and stuff?) I refuse to run the E10 in any of my road cars no matter what people say about it, The cars arent designed to use the fuel, so I'm not going to go throwing it in there until its been tested for atleast ten years. for a couple cents a litre difference I like the piece of mind that I'm not going to have long term problems from using an alternative fuel.

yeah methanol seems to be a bit harsher in terms of fuel lines and what it will eat through (plastics etc) But yeah, the principles remain the same for tuning and fuel systems.

hahaha, i must admit, I HATE people who sit in the right lane on the freeway (fast lane) and do the speed limit (110kph) There are three lanes, and basically anyone who drives the F3 to work everyday understand the following- The far left lane is for trucks and L platers The middle lane is for general traffic, if there is no traffic in this lane, then you should be here even if you are doing the speed limit or 5kph over if you want to go slower then 110kph get in the far left and putt along there. The right lane is for those travelling that "wee" bit faster. Most people will sit between 120-130 in this lane consistantly, its not legal, I know that, but most of you know that it happens, and its accepted by most people who use the F3. So it shits me to tears when people sit in the right lane and have the whole "I'm doing the speed limit" attitude and force those behind them to go into the middle or left lane in order to get around them! MORONS! Ive been using the F3 for 2+ years on a daily basis (45 mins on it to work, then the same home) and ive pretty much seen every kind of ignorant stupidity you will come across in that short time. As for the P plater thing, Yeah people act like tools to P platers, ive only been off mine for about 2 months now (had a slight delay in the form of a 3 month suspension.....) But anyway, L platers should be on the freeway in peak times, thats a big thing, 80kph is not a safe speed to be doing on a road in peak hour traffic. red P platers are less of a danger, but still present a problem when trucks are trying to overtake them, and cars are trying to overtake the trucks etc etc.

any reputable engine builder or head servicing place will be able to carry it out. Most engineering or machine shops should be able to do it too, just depends on their skill level as to whether or not you should use them.

looks like some nice metal flake combined with oil..... either that or its just the light reflection and its really milky (blown head gasket?) oil.
