  1. some people are waving stupid amounts of money at these seats too.... I wanted to bang my face on the footpath when I saw it come up on my fbook newsfeed. Fanbois hey...
  2. What do you do for a crust Jordain?
  3. tidied up the engine bay in the rolla last week :) XU-1 navigational rally while we were at Bathurst for "toranas on the mountain" (had a display at the track during the weekend etc etc) Shows that all of the XU-1 and GTR owners arent precious! :D Lazy dog- this guy killed elmo- my puppy dog- Her best (furry) friend aaaaaand, promo dog!
  4. I like my SX seca seats :) Honestly though, the most comfy, small cheap car seats I've ever had were in a 95 charade I had early on. They were a seudo bucket seat (so not masses of bolstering) but they were really nice to sit on/in
  5. I don't think they did, AE82s did, but 92s are all grey/black/blueish from memory
  6. got a wide one, hey? :D hahahahaha
  7. hey, for the $3 a week it costs me to be in the work syndicate, its worth it. 10 of us in the syndicate, have won a few little amounts in the last 6 months we have been going. That said, I couldnt justify $30 a week to buy a ticket on my own.
  8. I'm in a 7 person syndicate here at work. thats still 10 mil each! its jackpotted to 100 million next tuesday. The odds are incredibly ʞ©$ɟed though.
  9. WGMG...... Work. Why oh why did I not win the lotto last night!?
  10. Carsales automatically takes down your advert if you don't log in for a certain amount of days, people are just lazy though, I took the ute off while the guy was going to get the rest of his money to pay me.
  11. yup! great news for me! I don't run compliance plates on my torana/s so one rego, multiple cars? lol. OKE20 does the same thing I think haha
  12. don't mind my bart simpson surfing pj pants, or the dodgy old recliner (new lounge is on the left lol, this recliner was on its way to the shed) But this is how big our girl is, Kitty advantage is nice and cheap because of their size,
  13. do you use advantage or advantix? (I'm not sure the tick version of advantage is available for cats and the dog version will kill them) We use Advantix every 2 weeks on our dog. Costs us a fortune (she is 60 odd kilo, the largest they make is a 25kg+ one that reccomends using 2 on her..)
  14. not sure on the room, but look at AU falcon thermos (or BA) Popular conversion in torries, cheap enough too and VERY effective. only need the shroud marginally trimmed to fit between the rails on an LJ torana, so width shouldnt be an issue.
  15. maybe they just mean it is 90% as loud lol
  16. fingers crossed for your kitty Reed :(
  17. NCOP actually allows a bit more room to move in some cases, but to avoid spoon feeding, Google RTA/RMS engine conversion regulations 2012 and see what comes up. Ring the RTA/RMS directly and ask for a copy of the documents for the new modified car engineering scheme and regulations.
  18. Positioning the bender so the bend is in the right spot always shits me too. You think its going to bend on the right, nope, sorry, bends on the left. haha. Like you say though, once you do a few, you get used to it. The other thing I can reccomend is buying a decent flaring tool (especially for double flares) the cheap ones tend to flare off centre and they don't seal properly once bolted up.
  19. short answer, yes. Every engine will have a different compression ratio (depends on a heap of things) generally, bar a few random situations, all cylinders should show similar compression figures, abnormal readings for one or more is the best indicator for anything being amiss.
  20. Go the Corty! I'm still on the hunt for a MK1 to build a replica of my old mans first racecar. I'd love to build a copy of his prefect panel van, but having never seen a single one anywhere, I think Ie got more luck with the cortina
  21. trying to paint a roll cage is even more ʞ©$ɟed up!
  22. We arent keen on a long engagement, going off the month with the least rainfall in the beginning of next year, its looking like late May! So we've jumped head first into planning, can't believe how much money they want for anythign to do with "wedding". Corporate events I can book half the price, but if its for a wedding, the same venue, food and grog cost 2x as much! Guess we are having a "corporate function" that all our wedding guests just happen to be attending! lol Good luck with yours! I'm guessing the stress amps up the closer you get. Thanks dude! I'm still in shock! We've been together five years, owned a house for four, survived me being unemployed/part time nothing work for 7 months + all the stress. So I think marriage is going to be the easy part? haha (until those pooping crying things turn up) Thanks man. Haha, hey, if you're the only one sticking your bucket into a exceptionally good well, you're guaranteed to always get water (that and no one else can stick their diseased, "clapped" out bucket in there..) hahaha. arguments, headaches, babies and that time of the month aside (well.... technically the last ones out.... but only technically.... lol) I should have the equivelant of a 24 hour service station. Always open for when you get the munchies. lol
  23. WMMH?? She said yes.
  24. haha, you had a top weekend by the sounds of it. Always work with the garage door open. Means you can push it out and away from the house before watching it burn in delight. WGMG... oil pressure problem in the LJ.... sheesh.
  25. Chemiweld and pretend it never happened? haha. That sounds like a little bit of a problem you have there.
