I too have an AE95 with a pretty crunchy gearbox. First of all learn to double clutch and heel toe while doing so. Second of all a thinner oil will help heaps. Cheapest option is some auto transmission fluid, otherwise you can go for some redline shock proof but it costs a bomb. The auto transmission fluid is thinner then the normal gearbag oil so it may not protect the gear set as well but if it is on its way out, it is on its way out. Perhaps try some atf, if it fixes your problem then shell out for the redline. I am running atf in mine, much nicer through the gears.

Gday, Recently got one of these badboys. 92 model running well, all though the clutch feels like it is about to go... Does any one have a spare owners manual for this car? The car didn't come with one. Also does anyone know the weight, i got charged a lot for rego because they thought the weight was 1800kg or something stupid, need to chase that one up.
