  1. m6x16 bolts or screws for the rear, custom brackets for the front with similiar sizing. and nuts for the front too.
  2. sorry to be crude, but a cat may have pissed on your intake duct causing smell? also natural bacteria can grow in a car's aircon system, and there are special "antibacterial deodorisers" you can get to get rid of the smells. can't help with the pipe temperature concerns though sorry. have you taken it to an aircon specialist?
  3. dammit i'm out. :furious: family "thing" has come up. devastated. next one for sure, or do it again tomorrow night???
  4. i'll come, but i might bring a mitcham kebab with me if lambs has changed...
  5. transplant another engine while you're rebuilding the stocker, and do it ;)
  6. how did i miss this? swap for a matt black ke10?
  7. looking good :D looking forward to "cruisin" when this is back together
  8. all the ADR's that your car was built to meet in that year must still be complied with today. if it had no seatbelts in the back, you don't need seatbelts in the back today. there is a plate on all rolla's that has numbers and comma's on it. this tells you which ADR's it has to comply with. the earlier ones don't have as many numbers as you would imagine, and don;t usually have any pollution requirements.
  9. different states, different rules. VIC is quite good at the moment. cars have to be in a roadworthy condition. rust doesn't really cut it. period modifications are allowed here within reason. you don't have to have a stock car to have club permit. even though it won't help you at the moment, head over to www.tccav.org.au and click the club plates tab. it explains it pretty well. if you ever move down here, we'd be happy to have you. :D
  10. you need to look at the toymods thread of the dude who shoehorned a 1uz and nissan gtr running gear into a first gen celica. that will give you an idea of what you will need to do to make it work. all the best. prove 'em wrong, but don't f@$k it up. there's a lot of people who have a soft spot for the ke10's and they won't forgive you...
  11. thanks....

    but no thanks ;)

  12. it's manual conversion is imminent, ray (owner) is chasing parts at the moment. it's also one of my favorites... something about the colour scheme maybe???
  13. just fat enough ;) although 10's are on the way ;) :D
  14. it is an awesome rollaclub scene in melbourne, plenty of guys in your area always down for some cruising, keep an eye out in the melb thread for cruises and mini events, some can be at short notice, can't wait to se your rig out and about. can't help you out with any of your requests for good workshops sorry, but hopefully someone on here can. all the best, -Dave
  15. absolutely awesome turnout guys, thanks for your support. can't wait to see some pics from those who took them. still deciding on venue for next month, it isn't going to be as big as what i was originally planning, but stay tuned. ;)
  16. T-50 gearbox from an ae71/ae86 engine crossmember from ae71 steering rack from ae71 engine braces to gearbox radiator from ae71/hyundai excel clutch, flywheel assembly to suit motor/box combo gearbox crosssmember tailshaft to suit t-50 to whichever diff you are running etc etc depending on what configuration your 4agze is in
  17. why not put a fwd 4age and gearbox in the front driving the front wheels, and then the same in the back driving the rear wheels. ;) 4x4 and 4ws
  18. there is another set of fuses in the kick panel at the drivers feet. it has a separate fuse for taillights, this may solve your problem. if not, there could also be a problem in the circuit board setup that this same fusebox clips onto. I had a similiar problem and traced it back to here. hope this helps. -Dave
  19. Shouldn't be a problem, just make sure you're pollution gear looks about right. that's about the only difference apart from capacity. you could leave the ke55 manifolds as they are and just change the rest. you may need to provide proof of ownership of the 3k motor when getting it registered, as it will be different to what is on vicroads register. ie show a receipt of the car you bought with the motor in it.
  20. hi melbo's, i'm doing a little trip to Wodonga, and then one to Central Coast Nsw this weekend. if anyone has small items or fragile stuff to be picked up from either location, let me know and i'll see what i can do. -Dave 0422 328 332
  21. pm evan g he would love to ;)
  22. i'M 99.9% sure that the shifters don't interchange between 4spd and 5spd. lockouts for reverse are different, and something else. I believe you can use a shifter from a t-50 on the k50 if that helps
  23. got details of this? where when how much
  24. inspiration may come for a sticker design here: http://www.google.com.au/search?hl=en&safe=off&rlz=1T4ADFA_enAU423AU424&biw=1241&bih=578&tbm=isch&sa=1&q=ami+toyota+advert+70%27s&oq=ami+toyota+advert+70%27s&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=13066l16123l0l12l12l0l11l0l0l205l205l2-1 or off similiar from old magazines
