  1. yeah, i had to use deodorant on my last rim. tried three bike tubes which all busted, got pretty fed up with it, ready to quit, but the deodorant worked a treat. pretty easy too, just keep a good distance, and don't use a lot. less is more... 205/60/13 on 13x10 rear, 185/60/13 on 13x8.5 front results:
  2. do it yourself if you can't find somebody to do it. search on youtube for various methods of fitment, and understand all their disclaimers before trying it yourself. ;) methods of interest are deodorant, bike tube, baby elephant bead blaster. good luck, have fun.
  3. For some reason, i thought all the 35's had the late dash with the separate, top. happy to be proven wrong, but if this is the case, and you have the separate top, I have a couple of uncracked dashtops if you would like to buy one. -Dave
  4. not to rub it in, but you missed a farkin awesome coffe and donuts run... ;)
  5. one day, parrot, one day you'll be allowed to park with the chosen few... you choose if it's soon or not. ;)

  10. decoop, the previous owner to the guy you bought it off has removed the coil springs, and then tack welded the spring's top hat to the lower perch. presumably because it was flapping about once he took the springs out (presumably with an angle grinder) Scott in shepparton slammed my old ke11, i don't know what he did, but if you need his number pm me. -dave
  11. sounds good. i'd be in on that, and i know a lot of other melb members wouud be in on it too. albert park has enough carparks around it to be a feasible spot to meet up, not sure if you want hotspots to see other cars though? or hotspots for cops and unwanted attention? if you're interested in an early start, there's a morning monthly meet with plenty of chrome bumpers on the third sunday of the month. this month it's in preston, so it's not too far out of the way for you. -Dave
  12. keen to have a look at this tomorrow. looking good.
  13. the mirror is a vintage H_nda Civic item. agree peep mirrors will suit it better. :D

  20. I missed out on buying this. sooooooo jealous. love it heaps. you have a big responsibility to look after this car now that you've shared it with us. I'd like to see it lowered a bit with some 13" super dished wheels, and bolt on flares. ;)
  21. it's a 2wd dyno, so bring a 6x2, 4x2, 2x1 etc etc the bundy should be fine as long as you don't engage 4wd ;)
  22. spend some money on reconditioning a dizzy and buy a HDI kit for it if you want big reliable spark. don't waste the money though if you don't have any other mods to your motor to benefit from the extra spark though...
  23. ^^^ razor blade will get it off without a sweat
  24. you can also buy genuine superlites brand new to suit your car as is. in 13, 14 and 15 inch. do a google image search for ke10 and post up some pics of what you like, and see what people can offer
  25. Rattlecan paint from the inside will make them look smooth as silk. I did this to my ke70 wagon in black and did the rear door windows too, so the backseat passengers couldn't see out. I got defected for having too dark tint, even though i argued it wasn't tint.
