  11. Hi all, i'm looking for a photo of a build plate for an automatic/ all ke3x corolla's. sedans, coupes, hardtops, panelvan's and wagon.s. can anybody help? if pics not available, could you put body type along with the trans/axle line of the build plate; ie ke30 sedan 4dr, k40 u282. ke35 2dr hardtop k40 u282. and so on. would be much appreciated. thanks in advance, dave
  12. i believe it is a control panel off a late 80's mechanical elephant. lol
  13. that is a f@$kin brilliant idea... makes me want to keep it now :no2: but got too many other projects to finish off... -dave
  14. let's face it... if we drive the GOR together... the SA and VIC members and anyone else, we will end up at the end farthest from one state, and we will both have to backtrack somewhat on our trips home. my proposal would be for the VIC members drive to Warrnambool via the inland roads, meet with the SA boys there, then drive back along the GOR together to Lorne (or further as suited) where the SA members could then return home via inland roads. or the other way around, meet in Lorne, drive the GOR, return home from Warrnambool. if we come from opposite ends and meet in the middle, we don't get to experience it together and i think that this is a bit of what this cruise is about. that's my 2 cents. please comment. -dave
  15. lovin it mate. keep up the trendsetting. copying is the highest form of flattery ;) must mean others like it too :jamie: -dave

  17. i may sell the doors later as they are quite good, and have the sweet xx stripes. but i'm liking the thinking. i may put some ducts on the front for brake cooling purposes. ooh ooh ooh, and a chin spoiler  yeehah...
  18. bonnet scoop definitely, i'm contemplating the whole convertible thing, thinking about 'ute'-r-ising it first. i still want it looking awesome at all times.

  20. more chopping with no hint of a plan... any ideas? i have a 9 inch grinder.... no welder... .
  21. hey there young pup... my ke38 wagon runs on chopped fronts (not recommended) and upside down leaves at the rear (again not reccomended.) you should be able to get results similiar by flipping the main leaf on the rear only so the eyes are upside down without heating and rerolling them. have a search throught the forums for a wealth of knowledge, and read as many members rides pages that are about ke30's to see what other people have done. above all, have fun, safely. -dave
  22. rain? in Melbourne? hahahahah.... shit. will most likely be parted out after having some fun with body mods that wouldn't happen on a good shell. rims not for sale sorry... -dave

  24. for what it's worth, maybe knock up some tapered washers to align the m/cyl housing to the same plane as the pushrod, to eliminate wear? but otherwise looks real good. you've confirmed what i had thought possible. + rep....
