  1. I didn't recognise you with the 'do'. sorry, I would have said g'day.
  2. monthly/six monthly/annual rollaclub cruise for a cause. $5 a head. or $10 a head includes sticker. State by state fundraiser with graph to show who loves rollaclub most. :-)
  3. if you aren't already on toymods.org.au, there's a fair number of those getting around still. one guy in the western suburbs was offering some parts recently.
  4. KE20 Bootlid, possibly ke10. rare
  5. bingo! http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/63033-7k-e-intake-manifold-and-throttle-body-qld/
  6. you could have a look at the 4k-e or 7k-e exhaust manifolds where the motors had fuel injection? I might be wrong?
  7. very nice, can't wait to see this out cruisin :D
  8. I believe they are from ke25.
  9. ^^ got a link for the ad or any details?
  10. maybe you could have a cover "printed" based on the NOS 2TG filter to slip on over a new ADM Genuine filter? i'd buy one!
  11. Are you talking worldwide? or in australia?
  12. still owns :D i'm not too keen to pass judgement on an open forum. it's sad to see the haters so vocal. What's done cannot be undone, many things that were done at the time were "a good idea at the time..." I think the ke20 cabrio has slightly better lines than the 25 cabrio, and i'd love to have mine on the road. bloody rust. :(
  13. the fuse you're looking for is likely in the drivers footwell. there is a plastic panel that can be removed by two or three 10mm headed bolts. behind that panel is a fuse box with details of which fuse is which. as for your idling/bad running problems, there are many things that could be wrong with it. check the following. all inlet manifold nuts are tight. vacuum leaks around the manifolds will cause incorrect mixtures and poor running fuel filter is new/in servicable condition. a blocked filter will cause poor down low running. if that is out of your comfort zone, i reccomend taking it to any mechanic with at least 20 years experience. they should be able to diagnose and tune it quickly.
  14. it's a rubber flare extrusion that you can attach to your guard. it's mostly used on buses, trucks and 4wd's, but i don't see why it wouldn't look good. the picture is of the profile if you cut through it.
  15. http://www.uesint.com/upload/pdf/Wheel%20Arch%20Flare%20-%20Rubber.pdf This stuff comes in uncut lengths, about $12/metre. mob in dandenong do it, i've been meaning to try it sometime.
  16. nice. hope to see it at the toyotafest in june. (no excuses...)
  17. seriously check out the ARCAN jack. it is all aluminium, light as ʞ©$ɟ, lifts high, cheap, and low saddle height. waste of money buying a crap jack now, only to upgrade later. (edit) can't find one on ebay now except for in canberra. they want stupid money for them. I'm happy to buy one on your behalf next time i go to costco if you can wait a couple weeks. -dave
  18. look at an ARCAN jack on ebay. they are sold at costco for 165 dollarsish. best jack i have owned, out of 5 they sell on ebay for under 200, so cheaer than getting a costco membership just to buy the jack. you will be happy with this jack, guaranteed.
  19. i haven't heard of people putting ke20 arms in anything apart from ke20's to be honest. from what parrot has said based on the catalogue, the ball joint is different, so presumably won't fit. if somebody sells an adapter, chances are the two parts weren't compatible using OEM parts. people are trying to help you out here, but it probably would have been easier finding some ke70 ball joints at burson's or autobarn and measuring them. anyway, if you do work something out that somebody hasn't before, it will be worth the mucking around. good luck, it will be interesting to see the results.
  20. your steering ,braking and handling rely on your ball joints being right. if the taper is wrong or they don't fit properly, you could have catastrophic failure. then you'll be saying i wish i just spent the extra 60 bucks. if it was an exhaust tip or something i'd say cut the corner and save your money, but not when it's a critical component.
  21. something else to try could be te27 steering arms. same pcd as ae86 struts, not sure about taper compatibility. PM Parrot on here, he may have found something that works.
  22. even if they're different sized, you could get the arms machined to suit the ball joints you want to run. then if you're feeling keen, get the arms reamed to match the taper of the ball joint...
  23. sell the hilux diff, put in an r31 diff instead? keep it four stud. dodgy hub adapters on ebay or hoppers stoppers is a shop in Hoppers Crossing melbourne
  24. thinking about it, the faster your motor is spinning, the less that things want to move fast ie the petals in the centre of the pressure plate, so with the weights attached, it would actuate the engagement faster at high rpm than without weights. maybe i'm crazy???
  25. IIRC, HKS stands for Hong Kong Supermarket. some fine shiz they make too. turns out the TE27 has a HKS lumpy inlet cam.
