  1. nice piccies Adam, just after you left, a bozosuku style ra28 rolled in, also a red ae86 similiar to the takumi one.
  2. Hi Doogs, I was out at the khana, (rolled up really late in the '27) were you driving or just spectating? I would have liked to have said g'day... The wagon is owned by Dave Batchelor, and yep he's a bit of a gun driver. it saddened me to see some real nice bits on that car that i couldn't use for mine :bash: -Dave
  3. there is a guy in Ringwood that made mats to suit my ke25. they are a perfect fit, and he takes great pride in his work as an automotive trimmer. he will make mats to suit anything, and may be able to have them embossed or maybe embroidered to suit. Alan from OZTrim. on Olive grove Ringwood. can't remember number, but if you need i'll get it for you. -dave
  4. kudos on trying to get a cruise happening, would like to be on the next one. did you have any luck? got any pics? what do you drive, and what sort of cars are you trying to get along? -Dave
  5. technically just having the 13x7's on your car needs to be engineered as they are wider than standard, and have no doubt increased the vehicle track. the car should be reasonably easy to engineer as you're doing a proper job not a dodgy. they will look at the overall package and probably want a brake upgrade to match the vehicle that the engine was out of or better. at least if your car is pre '74, you won't need to comply with the stricter emissions regulations. good luck. -Dave
  6. yep, done it. if you want to do it, you'll need to put mounts for rack and pinion onto a t-18 x-member, then it is bolt in. just need to fiddle with some wiring, and use t-18 radiator. make it worthwhile, and use a 3t (1800) for more torque. (even better go twin cam head too.)
  7. it's fake. they employed oompa loompas, and made it look huge.
  8. yep, castor rod and maybe even mounts the swaybar too.
  9. hey Rob, that's great news. you could have embellished it a little. you know.. make it interesting :y:
  10. weight watchers
  11. I have just gotten permission to use the car for a non club event, so that side of things is sorted, however my Step-sister's engagement party is also that weekend, so my time will be sought after by her as well even though i don't really want to be there. I am dying to be at the Show and Shine, and i definetely want to go on a fair bit of the cruise. thanks for the offer of the indoor car park. lol. i may take you up on that :jamie: :D -dave
  12. if i can't do the whole thing, i'd like to come part way.
  13. i see them
  14. do it Gav... :)
  15. Why not turbo it and keep all the normal bits in it? i think you'd spend more money replacing bits with lighter ones for not much return as you would a turbo setup.
  16. hayashi street and cherry blossoms are available to buy brand new again, but expect not to be able to sit down for months after checking the prices. about 800 bucks a rim each plus postage. http://www.hayashiracing.com/
  17. congrats, mate. i hope you have a pre-nup, so there's no forced removal of corolla's :) lol good work mate. -dave
  18. hahaha the '16 is available at the moment, needs a fair bit of work tho. Mr Hurricane is looking later today. i believe he has what it takes to make it happen. -dave
