  1. Harry, Firstly, i'm assuming your handbrake is off. if it isn't, you will need to put it in the down position. If you know how to adjust the handbrake from inside the car, you should make it as slack as possible to try to get the drum back on. If this doesn;t help, you will most likely need to take out the adjusting mechanism that looks like a strange bolt that goes between the two shoes and wind it in to its shortest length. then you should be able to put the shoes back into thei normal position and put the drum back on. if you are wanting to drive the car with effective brakes later, you will need to adjust the brakes once the drum is back on. If you don't know how to do all of this, i would suggest googling the subject, or searching on youtube. best of luck. -dave
  2. sadly mine are e-bay specials. i love them all and sadly wish i didn't have to get rid of them, as i'm sure i will be kicking myself one day too. :P
  3. Love it  would like to see panda stylings and fender mirrors to end up as a four door 'Apex GT'
  4. if the drivers side chassis rail and inner guard is almost rust free, i'm still interested. Sad that nobody wants complete shells  i will need right from the front of the car right back to where it goes under the drivers seat. almost the full 1/4 of the car from the firewall forward and floor down. and most of the way up the guard inside the wheel well. ideally it would be unpicked, or cut out generously so i could unpick it later. any idea on freight for a pallet/ loose to melbourne 3134? i'd imagine it could weigh up to 40kg? -Dave
  5. what are you trying to prove? pointless bragging in your sig about how you can screw people down on price and now wanting burnouts from a classic corolla whose purpose was a cheap economical commute? i think you want a commodore or a falcon mate  but if you really need to do a burnout in it... get it tuned properly, put hi octane fuel and some extra timing advance, inflate the tyres to 50psi, apply a mechanics hose/soft line clamp to the flexible line ffrom the body to the diff, jack up the diff slightly, rev the tits off it in neutral, slam it in low and hang on!!! rollaclub and i accept no responsibility from any form of loss arising from you or your dumb mates following any of these directions. all suggestions are purely for illustrative purposes and are not intended for application. -Dave
  6. put a commodore motor in it if you want to do smokeys or try putting transmission fluid down first
  7. yep :sob: won't find many over here, and its probably cheaper than finding in Japan. not sure what wiring you'll have to add to it if any. nice find :sob:
  8. nutserts in the right location would negate the need to cut the tunnel. google nutsert or rivnut if you don't know what i mean.

  20. worth is always relative. if you're desperate to sell, you never get the right price, if you're desperate to buy, you sometimes pay too much, (but don't risk missing out :y: )
  21. Thankfully had new eyelets, and tool to set them. knows his shit when it comes to oldskool.
  22. it would be more time consuming either way, but parting it out may net you more than if sold complete and unroadwarthy. option 2 would be to sell complete with roadworthy. best of luck. hope it all works out
  23. i HIGHLY reccomend OZTRIM in Melbourne. the bloke ALan did some fabulous work in my TE27, and he is a Japanese old skool vehicle enthusiast, albeit he owns Dirty Datsuns... pic as of yesterday
  24. nice one bowls, welcome to the family :bash: i might have some mechanical/brakes spare parts as of tomorrow, so if you need stuff, give me a yell. -Dave
