  2. theres two long bolts with philips head slot that come up behind the light, just grab a screwdriver and adjust. one does the vertical and the other horizontal.
  3. well i spent a few dollars over the weekend to start the tune up. bought new ignition coil, leads and plugs. oil, filter, oil n radiator flush, coolant, rust inhibitor, carby cleaner and rocket cover gasket and silicone sealant. so the next few days ill be ready to give her a decent tuneup. wish me luck...
  4. i found this carb kit on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/_Car-Truck-...p3756.m20.l1116 it looks like what i need, is it? ive got a gregorys workshop manual which tells me how to service the carby, is there any thing that i should be careful of or look out for? first time doing anything like this so I'm abit paranoid ill smeg it up :(
  5. its got abit over 85000kms original :P i want to keep it running in good nick, so i don't mind spending a little on it.. whats should i do for the coil? just take it into an auto sparky and get them to test it? i reckon the carby could do with a service, whats involved if i wanted to hava go myself? cheers guys
  6. heya the old motor is sounding a bit rough, and she needs a tune up.. what exactly do i do for a tune up? ive done a few oil changes, new plugs and leads what else is there?
  7. nice looking rolla dude.. havent seen you round, but ill keep an eye out.. ill post some pics of my beast tomoz..
  8. heya dude, I'm in coffs aswell.. ive gotta sky blue ae82 rolla sedan, theres a few in town. mines prob best looking from what ive seen lol, gotta alpine sticker on the back..
  9. heya ive got a ae82 sedan, and I'm looking at fixing the sloppy handling.. initially i was just going to get a suspension place to install new springs but after quoting me $600 to do it, i thought its about time i learnt how to do it myself.. how hard is it to replace springs and shocks? i understand ill need a spring compressor but thats about all i know lol.. while I'm going to be playing with it all, i spose it'll be worthwhile to get swaybars, etc.. would it be a good idea to replace all the bushes aswell?? i want to get slightly lowered springs, new shocks and new wheels - i want to do this all properly and get all the suspension/wheel stuff done at once so i don't have to worry about stuff down the track.. I'm not that mechanically minded but I'm keen to learn so any help is appreciated.. cheers
  10. ive got a ae82 sedan with a 4ac and i was under the impression that you couldnt tune the carby as its 'sealed'? is that right? can anyone clarify?
