  1. The KE70 tooks crisp as. Full G-Spec... love it. The TA22 looks likes a great base for a projest and the progress is cookin. Gotta love those rims too, they make it look mean! :jamie:
  2. Plus I would like to get rid of the Torana, replace it with a KE70. :jamie:
  3. Will do. Its just run out of reg, so I've got to get it on club reg now. Wait till I get the Charger going. :jamie:
  4. Apparently there are plenty of d!ckheads on Hemi6 forum (i can't join as I have a hotmail email). Try MoparMarket forum... sooo much better. Look me up, I'm CCLXV (work that name out) I've tried to join 3TCgarage but I have to wait for an activation email. its been quite a few weeks so far. As you say, it appears they have too many members already :jamie:
  5. The Mustang Eleanor is sin ugly (sorry Chip), this Elenoar mock up is ugly... actually evry girl I know with the name Eleanor is ugly too... must be the name. :jamie:
  6. As above. We have 8 cars at the moment. No bikes though. I'm lucky because my other half: A) likes me for who I am. I'm into cars and therefore she's cool with that. She actually picked this house for the huge garage it has. B) she has become a bit of a car fan and now actively gets involved with my hobby. As much i would like for you to sell mw the VE ,I must advise against the selling it. Firstly regardless of whether you drive it or not, while you own it, its making you money. Secondly they are planning on bringing out a pay as you use registration.
  7. Saw this KE55 on the way home the other night. Also saw a yellow KE70 that morning heading towads Dandenong up the South Gippy. It looked quite cleanh with a little bit of work done to it.
  8. "Corolla" is derived from Latin. Corolla is the deminutive of Corona which is Latin for Crown. But yes they are both used in relation to particular anatomy of a flower. This is derived from the Greek ... :bash:
  9. As some have said it depends on the mood. I find listening to banging tracks with some serious energy results in speeding, and listening to aggressive music results in aggressive driving and behaver. So I tend towards more chilled songs... usually something with good lyirics in my vocal range so I can "sing" along... thank God for Dynamat :(
  10. None of my cars have a working radio.
  11. I hope you kept the original 273. As you probably know, with Mopar, numbers matter. Have you thought of going to COTM with her? P.S. My partner has just seen these pics of your car and she wants to add to our collection. :(
  12. That is one SWEET VE. My fav of the 60's Vals. Alway disappointed they didn;t come as a hard top (unless you go US Dart) Is it running a teen or a 273??? I love the late model steering wheel. :(
  13. Made full use of this day off. Pulled the engine out of the Pumpkin: Ready for head work, rings and new gaskets. Pulled the engine out of the doner car. Swapped a few things around as the doner engine had a AC pump. Plus I managed to damage the pressure plate. Dropped the doner engine in, hooked it up Runs a charm. Engine out: Doner engine: Doner engine in the Pumpkin: As you can see, it needs a good cleans. Once the car is completely back together the first trip will be to the car wash. It appears that our rabbit likes Toyotas:
  14. Welcome to Rollaclub Its great to see someone that has, and plans to keep, thier Corrola original G-spec. Good form. Pics would be great.
  15. I agree with part 1 and 3. Too good to bash, I still regret bashing my old rolla back when they weren't very popular. Find an old crapper for that. BUT DO NOT bash the Datsuns. Like Rollas, these are good cars sort after by enthusiasts... even the 120Y's. :D
  16. Mang those super charged set ups are too cool. Good to see some interest in the T series engine. :D
  17. Yeah thats many better spent on our Charger.... and maybe some engine work for the Pumpkin. I got the last of the orange paintdown today. Gaurds came up a charm but I got a little too clever for my own goos with the boot lid and it have need more love. If the weather holds out I may hit the bonnet today too. Then that all the paint. .................................... Well I got the satan black ontop the bonnet. Damn hard to get it down for some reason. Plenty of nibs too.
  18. Yeah the UC's aren't very popular, except for doner cars for the LH's and LX's. Because its a Sunbird most Tori fans don't even concider it a Torana... but they are still more than willing to use parts off it for their Torasnas. :D It ws a free-bee so I can;t complain. Although a 333 would be killer, this car wont be getting any mods, as it is just a daily, and I already have enough money pits. :S
  19. Man that is one crisp Galant. Awesome colour too. I've been thinking about getting on of these as they look quite simular to the VJ Valiant and its would look good having a big one and a little one. :D
  20. Nice looking Lancer you have there. Tells us about the 2.6 ltr engine. I thought these things only came out with 1.6's maybe even a 2 litre. A mate of mine has one of these in green, called the flea. It sometimes makes apperances at MoPar shows just for fun. :D
  21. 2 very beautifull cars, and with simular styling. pitty about the Desoto..... MoPar :D I would love to see aome pics of the interia and engine bays.
  22. Cheers mang. Yeah I love orange, plus its a highly visable colour so hopfully no one drives into us. Sadly it is both a UC and its actually a Sunbird with a 202 dropped in. I must say I am really impressed in how sterdy and reliable the "Tori" has been so far.
  23. After painting the roof again, it was colour sanded... Once again after buffing big scratches appeared. As it turns out sand has been falling on the car from the ceiling and has caused the scratches while colour sanding. After cracking the poos with it, I have finally decided pulled my finger out and begun putting everything back together. Interia is all but done. Just gotta respray the boot, gaurds and bonnet, sort out the engine issues, clean then we hit the roady check. Its taken 2 years to do Sweet FA!
  24. We have and love old Rollas and old Datsuns. BUT MoPar reigns supreme in this house. This is our long distance cruiser. Its a 68 Dodge Phoenix. Stock 318 (LA block) with a 727 Torqueflight trans. Totally original. Not too good around town but when she hits the open road she uses 1 fifth of f**k all fuel. We also are currently doing a VJ Charger, a Chrysler ute AND a 200B SSS Coupe that will have a 349 small block shioe horned into it for some 1/4 mile fun.
