thankyou, ive put a lot of work into it, its getting there soon to finish hopefully by the end of the year, but i don't think it will ever be finished there will allways be more to do to it :sob: its nice to drive around want more torque though haha

ok now to now adays... and it is brutal haha scares the pants off people at the traffic lights!!!! rofl!!!! :sob: i bought that i put it on i painted it i love bunnings, it only cost me 40 bucks to do 2 coats of paint!!!. photos are from phone so not that good but you get the idea :wink: and thats it for the moment, i will be checking out a worked 4k to shove in it which should be good!! :cool: later guys and gals tell me what you think. :dance:

ok then i had a bit of break and now ive started to finish some of the stuff i had been doing on it. so i went to work on my bumpers and the rustand finishing stuff!! and yes.

and thats about it for that period of time.

ok so now a couple of months on... i found ke70.com and then well i found all the other sites and i was like whoah!!! and yeah so i decided to go and hunt on here for stuff to learn about. well in the meantime i did things i already new how to do + a lil help from rollaclub.com of course!! this included wasting my money on a full service and carbi shit and now I'm about to change to a weber. i t cost me 400 bucks f@$kin rip off and he didnt even do a full service. anyway he said mate your radiator is about to die itll cost you about 400-500 for another one i was like hmmm.... :wink: i don't want to spend 400-500 on a shitty radiator... so i devised a plan that saveed me money!! i went to autobarn and bought a bonnet scoop haha. now she dosent even hit the warm mark haha!!! and only 30 bucks!!! :sob: anyway heres pics of the stuff i did to it around that time... and....

ok so i got some pics dug em up from the day i bought it, man my hair was long then, though it did all fall out :wink: And thats the ke on the day i bought her. what a good day, i didnt know a thing about it or corollas or cars for that matter apart from v8's are cool haha. :sob: but next ill post pics of a few months later....

Ok i have my ke70 for about 6 months now, and i thought it was time to show it off. When i bought this car for $900 it was completely stock new tyres all around with a 1.6 stick on thingo on the side and i was like wtf, which i still am like wtf about. and free rust. it came with a 4k and yeah. so how about some pics, ill try and scrounge some up.

my ke70 has a manual choke and i have to let it warm up for ages when i first start it or no matter how warm it gets through out the day it will conk out you just have to give it a really good warm up keep it at about 1500 for about five mins or so just to get it running nice. also i had a blown gasket later on that made it sputter, it was exhaust one and that made it die continusely no matter what. hope that helps Travis

aww i want a sunroof.... does the sunroof open, hey all you guys got your ke70s for under 500 damn i got ripped i got mine for 900 darn lol 5 brand new tyres in mine though. and then i spent 400 bucks on the carbi and now 4 months later I'm getting a weber :dance: anyway get it just for the sunroof haha

hyundai = :blush: lol cool performance turbo or supercharger or na? i want a supercharger but p plate laws are craphouse. go supercharger i reckon bit more different and don't rev that lil 4k past 7500 or it will die but other than that there a really good engine, first thing id say you should do is read through the entire faq on this site escpecially "how to build a tough k motor" its very informative and a good place to learn about the k engines and how to make them good for cheap :dance: hope it goes well mate will be a great car :bash:

are you on p's or anything because remember not sure about vic but in nsw you can't have engine swaps and all the goodies :dance: if not you have like no limitations and it will become a beast i reckon a nice 4agze or sr20det lol rust id say bog and fibreglass. and yea, you goin for looks or engine mods? or both?

degreaser works the goods for me :dance: get it from anywher i got mine from crazy clarks in a spray can for like 2 bucks

bunnnings is the shit, i just painted my entire ke70 with 10 3 buck fiddly bits spray cans!! looks good

its comes with an engine package a guy is selling, ive priced a custom exhaust here and its well over 500. don't know if its cause I'm in coffs harbour or not but yeah.

has anyone had one side by side or something or own both models that they can have a measure and a look for me, it would be much appreciated. cheers

shit man feel hell sorry for ya, i slammed my car in to a wall thats why i stopped road drift lol track and a different car for me aye. itll all work out ok though man don't worry.

is it bolt on or if not how different/simple is it to make it fit, i have access to a full sheet metal worksshop but we do not have the tool to make the bends in it but i can weld and lengthen straight bits proffecionally. cheers. its a 2 1/4 " exhaust. edit: will extractors from a ke35 fit my ke70, there off a 4k to go on a 4k. cheers

check your fuses where at drivers side feet where stock 4" speekers go there is a panel, take panel off and you will see a lil white rectangle about 10cmx4cm unclip it and there are more fuses check em and replace any that are blown :P yeah theres 3 fuses boxes the one i just said the one in the panel next to steering wheel and the one next to battery lol, there could be more lol. later guys

cheers for your help mate but i needed it fixed urently so i just took it to my sparky, we found a third fuse box in it on drivers side next to pedals, and replaced the blown tail 15 a fuse it was because the wiring on the new number plate light was backwards thanks for all your help

yes it does so do blinkers and hazards.
