well made my engine bay sparkle today, and painted her a bit with some more bunnings paint. i have a photo on my phone of it just after engine got taken out, ill upload it once i can connect it to my pc. i still havent got any replys in a while :P Travis

you should just pull the weber apart and put a kit through it aye, thatd stop the gasket stuff and make it run a shit load better, do you know why it was leaking? Travis

yea, it dosent tell you on your temp gauge until its too late aye, take radiator cap off and if theres air bubbles in it rip that head off and grab a new gasket. yea it was right lucky i pulled it apart aye, its ok its not your fault you didnt realise, lucky it hasnt done any unrepairable damage. but yep definately one to watch out for. thatd be sic man we'll have to go to a cruise down to the pub next time I'm down in sydney. ive got my engine bay sparkly clean today and gave her a lap of paint with some more $3 bunnings paint comes up nice, my mates like holy shit man how are you so neat with a spray can, you didnt even use masking tape, and I'm like, i sprayed the whole damn car with 5 3 buck cans twice, i know how to spray paint :P but yea its all good man just thought id let ya know so you know what to look for with your new engine or you could be in a spot of bother on the side of the freeway Travis

Hey Mate, i also found out yesterday that you also blew the head gasket in your 4k, lucky i ripped it apart to get higher compression or a few more weeks of driving and she would have been in the same condition as my engine i just ripped out yesterday :P so theres something to put on your to-do list, make sure ya get all brand new gaskets for your 4age haha, so you don't get in a spot of bother in a few weeks after putting it in, and remember always continusely check your temp gauge or your f@$ked :( Travis

has it blown a gasket? got air bubbles in your radiator? take it to mechanic and get him to check ya gaskets, could even be your exhaust or intake gasket Travis

Ok, got old engine out today, and new one looks like Mistaarrr Shpaarcckkllee!!! got him squeeky clean. and its ready to go in, all it needs is its head back and a gasket kit and a carbi! Got it out with my mates help we pulled out out pretty easy, getting bolts around gearbox undone was a bitch though but got it Travis

don't believe what some people say, i got told to put an acrylic hardener over my enamel paint aye, idiot haha, but yea you spray a crear hardener over it and she is solid as bruh, 2 pac you will find is extremely toxic i think you will find and you need like a full body suit or something like that to paint it. but yea do it yourself, sprayed my entire car with spray cans and it turned out great even though i did absolutely 0 prep, if i did it would have been perfect, i used the cheapest of cheap cans from bunnings haha, i don't recconmend it though unless you want to spend extra prep time and don't want a mad finish like you get with acrylic. heres a nice lil update for ya all...........i blew my head gasket!! so any plans i had for new motor have been scraped cause SHE HAS TO GO IN NOW!!!!! still gonna get a weber but that will have to happen later on..... it f@$ken gay! Travis

oo a surprise!!! well guess what happened today? my engine blew the f@$king head gasket!!!! not your engine mine so now i have to swap it in early and it wont have any extra mods done to it apart from valves re seated and and minimum head shave as i don't have time to work it out and my dads ranting on to me telling me not to take it down heaps f@$king gay, i don't even have a different carbi yet so i have to use the stocko until i get it you can probs tell I'm just a wee bit f@$king pissed off with my car and its a shitter cause i really wanted to do the engine up o well looks like ill have to buy an ae71 and 4age it. later Travis

i saw that add too and i was like wtf durrr but wgmg is that yesterday yeww get exhaust and extractors running and she runs like a dream, today however i drive it for 5kms very carefully as i didnt have much fuel and it blows the f@$king headgasket!!! i mean wtf!!! now my new engine has to go in earlier than planned and wont be anywhere near as modified!! wont even have a different carbi!!!! and thats wgmg Travis
