Scott, they have been redrilled as they have two stud patterns and i know the guy that did it at work for one of the previous owners. i can get pics of them but they have been redrilled. its running KE30 brakes modified to suit the 110pcd hubs and is running the standard jap import front loader. you wouldnt happen to have any of the wheels u mentioned would you?? even 2 matching ones would be ok CHEERS Ryan

Hi people, this is an update i hoped not to be wrting. I had a bit of a bingle in the rolla ;(, nothing serious, just buckled my rear passenger wheel. was going round a corner I'm familiar with the back swung out and it spun 180 degrees and hit a small gutter. the gutter was the only thing stopping me from hitting the sign post that was 2 feet away from the passenger door when i stopped, no joke. had a look at the skid marks and looks like id gone into a 4 wheel slide, so i reckon the front tyres let go and it was over steer heaven from then on. rollin round with 2x 14" wheels with mid profiles 1x 14" with full profile tyre and 1x 13" spare with full profile. all wheels match except for the spare so it doesnt look to bad but need another RT104 steely or 4x wheels to suit ke2# stud pattern. I've heard escort wheels fit up good is this true? CHEERS Ryan

Max, there will be 30+yr old cars coming if this happens there will be more than a few stops and more than likely some unplanned ones :hmm:. I remember when i first got my P's and took a mate out for the first cruise, i came outta side street in hallet cove and pulled a twinny standstill, IN THE DRY. prolly what killed my clutch. i whip the back out in the dry just can't keep it going as the clutch slips too badly but I'm better in the wet :POSTPICS!:. and this is all with a std 3k and shitted clutch. mmmmmmm all the fun of a 4k and good clutch. next on my list a replacement diff:P. A very good metak polish is PURPLE, made by California Gold. worked wonders on the wheels on my ute, bumpers andother shiney stuff, used it on my hubbies and the looked minta. a tip the makers give to keep chrome lookin goot always keep polish up to it. CHEERS Ryan

Hey Josh,I remember you tellin me u didnt wanna take ur axles out and if u don't wanna take ur axles out u can't weld ur diff. need to have the center out of the housing to weld both sides of the spider gears. CHEERS Ryan

if ya got P plates i reckon i passed ya on south road just after the expressway goin towards the city, u was pulled over. If theres a red 25 goin along reynell road its most likely me. um will keep the 4k in for a bit till i can afford the 5k . will be a littlw while off yet but when it comes out u have priority of getting it. Keep an eye out in wet weather I'm the 25 gettin sideways round 2 outta 3 corners. CHEERS Ryan

4K is at home and safe now :y drove to murray bridge where me mate lives,checked out his shed (hyundai excel powered go cart, 2 door roofless HZ, Home made hotrod. he had the 4k on the engine crane so i checked it out and was satisfied. took the intake, exhaust manifolds, alternator and dizzy cap off and it slid right into the boot of the 25. drove back to adelaide with no boot lid and a 4k pokin out ;). (twin engined rolla) spent lastnight and an hour or 3 of today taking things off and cleaning them up and it doesnt leak oil like th 3K YES :cool: . just need to swap a few things over from the 3K like the polished rocker cover, thermostat housing, intake manifold (3K no emissions) and alternator bracket. will be either selling as a whole or parting out the 3K, more details in the for sale thread. Corolln, motors yours when I'm done. what colors the 30? have a feelin ive seen ya before on south road, ya might see me fangin round from time to time but I'm workin down at hindmarsh so not spendin much time during the day around the southerns burbs. oh and make sure its a carton of westend or tooheys :dance: CHEERS Ryan

Always glad to help. Its really come along way. main things id be doing would be checkin the clearance between the starter solenoid and the stractors as theres bugger all clearance and see if theres a way to get the stractors not rubbing on the gearbox cross member. Sounded tough with that exhaust leak tho. Whats a center console woth from the wreckers as it mightnt be a bad idea for mine. bugger bout that fuse tho, but at least you can't scare yourself any more :cool: CHEERS Ryan

Well I'm picking up the 4k tomorrow, driving from murray bridge back to woodcroft with a 4k in the boot of the 25 :cool: . when i get rid of the 4k i'll be asking either $50 or a carton of beer. first person to come up with either of these will be the owner of a 4k.
