Diffs way out. check your spring mounts, springs or the spring seats on the diff. EDIT. it may be the head of the center bolt that locates the diff on the spring pack may have snapped off.

OK, brakes started getting crap on saturday night after coming out of the hills. Drove around a bit like that then on the tuesday morning the master cyl went. I've replaced the wheel cylinders and swaped the master cylinder. I have bled the brakes twice (got told the proper sequence the 2nd time) and now the pedal is still soft as and sinks almost to the floor. I just about put my foot thru the door before so i walked away from it. Anyone got any ideas on wtf could be goin wrong.

nah its alright, i got it under control. got some good mates round my area if i need a hand. might even give them something in return for helping out ay :)

Ahhhhhhhhhh, now i see. thanks Leigh :) And I figured the larger one is for the big ass EGR bolt on the intake manifold the mystery of the fibre washers is solved :D

According to my digital vernier calipers the dimensions are as follows Small fibre washer ID= 18.00mm OD= 28.00mm Large fibre washer ID= 25.38mm or 0.998 " OD= 33.43mm or 1.316"

Yea found out what they were for from Trav 555. thanks anyway. I was thinkin bout the fibre ones being for the fuel system but the size seems a bit whack for that, will check them out. Wont be needing them i don't think ( different carb and no mech fuel pump).

Fuel reg came in on tuesday and so did the gasket set. Picked up the gasket kit tonight and woweee, it comes with everything you can think of, and some i don't even know what they're for haha. Should hopefully get a new master cylinder tomorrow. Me wants it going by saturday arvo at the latest. ZOMG. Lotsa gaskets :D WHat are these 4 rubber seals and 2 fibre washers for?

I guess with an SC the size you go would be limited by the engine and the boost you want as it doesnt have boost lag like a turbo. Basically an SC has two "rotors" with fins or lobes that intermesh with each other (much like gears) while spinning air is trapped between these fins or lobes and compressed before exiting under pressure (boost). All it really is, is an air compressor. As long as you have enough power to turn the thing and mount/ plumb it i can't see any restrictions on how big you could go. There would be a point where it could be so big for the application that its stupid big. Some of the SC's used in drag racing soak up more power than the average HEMI V8 produces!!! Try that sucker on ya 4k :D

SC12 = 1.2L or 1200cc of air per revolution SC14 = 1.4L or 1400cc " " " " " " People seem to use these two more because they are toyota superchargers and most people get rid of them from a factory SC engine and replace with a turbo SC12 from 4AGZE SC14 1GGZ (i think, i know its a 2L 6 cyl)
