  2. 1290cc :jamie: Bigger brakes (rear) aswell i think.
  3. Well, up until about 2hrs ago i had no clue as to what camber tops were (thanks Alex) Suspension really isnt my forte. Thinking about just leaving it all stock for now and getting the mods done that I'm in the proccess of doing. Then i can think about toying with struts and camber. Might keep researching the rack and pinion conversion tho.
  4. Yea man i know what its like workin on ya back lol. Yea when ya find out whats broken drop us a PM or something. I wouldnt rule out that axle tramp theory either, seeing this car trying to sedately take off from the lights its a high possibitlty. BUT if it was a broken leaf it would have been the main and the car would be sagging down and resting on the tyre.
  5. Sick, will have a geez at the wreckers next time. SO, GH sigma arms will slot right in?
  6. Got this in an E-mail a while ago. And its fully registered in California, therefore passes californian emission standards too. and the guy who built it was also building this for his missus
  7. Yea, its what they call that mass patch of scrub behind Reynella East High. Damn, can't figure it out lol
  8. Cheers guys, Redwarf: are you just talking about Sigma GH LCA's or the whole strut? Styler: will have a look now
  9. Already thanked ya in my KE discussion thread :) many thanks to Jason, wouldn't have got em done without his help. Also thanks to Raven for giving me the right advice. Yea, mine came off ebay, seller by the name of at_racing if my memory serves me correctly. When it got delivered it came with Procomp Electronics stickers and Sydney Speed Supplies stickers so I assume thats where it came from.
  10. 2 for me, you have my PM. transfering $$$ monday arvo
  11. Jaycar electronics or Dicksmith
  12. Talking to Charity Rolla about this and was wondering if there were any control arms that could be swapped into a ke30 for a bit more camber? are there any struts that swap over easily that could possible improve handling at all? Also, would it be possible to fit rack and pinion steering out of a kesev into a ke30? CHEERS Ryan
  13. Just get a 7k mod the sump, decomp it, turbo it and hang on. Mate of mine did tha in his 25, got about 250rwhp. Dunno what this Ba16 makes but fark, a polished up turbo 7k looked SO good. better than some Vtec.
  14. LJ torana yum. massive flares, not so yum. but still yum
  15. And she gives good..............................................Directions too for that matter. thanks Lesley, forgot to thank you earlier.
  16. fixed the brakes yay :) Alex: I got a Procomp fuel regulator from Sydney Speed Supplies.
  17. just did them the way i'd done them before, which i thougth was the right way. Mick told me the right way, got Jason to come round and we done it the "right right" way and it turned out all good.
  18. ballast resistor or not, shouldnt affect the tacho. I had the same tacho on a hilux 22r motor (electronic ignition, no ballast) KE25 (points, ballast resistor) my WB One Tonner (HEI, no ballast resistor) and for a short time my ke30 (points, ballast resistor). I have a feeling theres something not right with the signal its getting.
  19. what happend with a new tranny along with shaved head and a shot of nitrous
  20. Got them done guys. With some quality advise from Raven and help from Charity Rolla. Thanks goes out to both of you.
  21. Dunno, will check. Seen em sitting in a box at the bottom of a rack of shelves.
  22. Wrong ===> Wrong
  23. If it is the you-bolts i can hook ya up with a set. or new center bolts if they're the problem.
  24. New tacho time :)
  25. Bled them as per usual. Undo the bleed nipple, attach a bleeding hose. Submerge end of hose in a pot of brake fluid. then procceded to pump pedal only going hlf way as not to darn the seals. did this until only brake fulid came out. Repeated for the other wheels. worked in a sequence; furthest away from master first. Passenger rear, drivers rear, passenger front, drivers front. I got the feel of the pedal with the master cyl on and of and there seemed to be no difference in feel between master cylinder on and off.
