As per mentioned. Please don't hate me :bash:
EDIT: thought id add this thread to list with all the other threads which contain a picture of said members car.
And they can be built to be *** tough. Drag racers prefer a 2spd over a 3spd due to a 3spd's 1st gear being a tad too low and the extra weight asscociated with another ratio. For me i prefer to choose my own shift points, manual all the way for me.
Well sounds like we got 6 or so people. I have no idea how long it takes to get to lobie but would a meet at the colonades carpark near the woolies servo be aiight?
Got soem prices on tyres and for the rears (205/60/13) will come to $115 each which is only $50 more than the (185/70/13) that will be going on the front.
Might get the 185's on the pair i have already and then use up the tread on the other pair that I'm still yet to pick up.
Bought an engine stand for the 4k FINALLY. Got the sump off to find that the baffle that goes in the front of the sump has been removed. Need to know weather i need it in there or it can do without it.
Also, how do you get the front main seal out? tried a few different ways and got par of i out but its still in there tight. I just don't wanna screw up the timing cover. I presume u get both the front and rear main out the same way?
CHEERS

Says the man with the $300+ fine :bash:
Anyway, my OMG for yesteday/today is that i bought an engine stand for the 4k. now i can finally get the sump off due to it not sitting on a tyre on a roller cabinet :y:
Its not the power that breaks things, its the torque. But even so, I'm suprised at how long shes lasted. Tell all the drag boys to stick their 9 inches and get a K series diff.
Yea, That'd most likely be me. First time using internet banking so the lady from the bank basically did it for me. PM with said persons details to confirm. Sorry.
EDIT: wasnt me, I did the right thing for once yay :bash:
Well what i said is what id been told. If its not true then it isnt. But really, if I had to use spacers over 5-8 mm id find wheels with the correct offset to begin with. Unlike someone i know who used 25mm worth of spacer to fit FWD wheels to his ke30 :bash:
