Hey guys, Thanks for the info. I can't see how i could scratch the crank. The timing cover and rear main carrier are both off the engine. If need be i have a spare timing cover and rear main carrier off my old 3k to practice on or use if i screw up. Only problem with the 3k timing cover would be the timing marks -
Just remembered this. BIIIG thanks goes out to White_Sandshoe (Garnett) for lending me his T-18 while i was in Perth. Hope to catch up with ya when your in Adelaide :)

Ahhh come on guys, least hes giving it a go. I'll admit it wasnt the smartest thing to do, but we've all done something that we probably shouldnt have.

how much you planning on lowering? anything under an inch and id block it, anything over an inch and id just get them reset.

Flip the springs. Lowers it and stiffens it in one go :)

Well looking at them (not at a picture) they are still pretty red. and those are only the parkers.

I wouldnt say its that dark it would really be an issue. I mean you can get tinted tail lights off the shelf aswel. While i had both tail light assembelies out the thought of doin something like the mazdas had. Polished stainless plate with 3 round lights. maybe.

Dunno what extractors your running but you shouldnt have to mod anything, let alone the intake

I only taped off the reflector because if its parked on the side of a dark street i don't want anything increasing the chance of somone not seeing it. I could darken the lights even more, i'd just be the case of getting LED lights to replace the bulbs.

300 for extractors. 70 for fitting and temp welding leaves $480 on a 2" system. Still 200 more than i got quoted for pretty much the same in 2 1/4" :)

Yea, ive destroyed the seal already :). just wanted to check before removing them and possibly screwing the timing cover and rear main carrier. -
