Yea sure mate, i'll take 20 bags :S still got tinites. havent had any trouble yet. engine will get swapped when the new ones is back together, might be putting it in NA or SC'd don't know at this stage. Yea for sure, need to get new tyres. a wheel alignment and the engine in, hopefully the 4kz will be a plug and play sorta thing.

nope not the efi. got all the mounts and belts and stuff. although i think the EFI may have already sold :y:

and the rings are gone on my current 4k. Took the oil cap off and there is soo much Blowby that its not long now before i will have to swap engines.

for that size repair and for people that don't have access to welders to patch the rust and don't wanna have to take their car to a bodyshop, i don't see a problem with it. Sure if it was a bigger rust patch then get it doen properly. The repair turned out fine and for the average joe its cheap and easy. I know i wouldnt fork out to take my car to a body shop to get a spot that size fixed.

Supercharger and some mounts that will be used as templates have been purchased. Should be on its way in about 3 weeks. 4KZ is getting closer. :y:

T50 would be the box to use for the 4age swap. K50 is what you'd put in it if you wanted a 5spd behing the stock 4k

Yea, thats how everyone starts out, making do with what they have. I totally forgot about tig. You could braze even with a Bernzamatic propane torchy thing. Might have to ask work nicely to use the tig welder one friday arvo. Really have to strart kissing ass, iv still gotta make my supercharger mounts and now guards :y:

Gas mig it or braze them on sounds like it would be a bit better than gasless mig. Could do it the old school way and lead wipe it :y:. Really love the progress. glad to see everythings being done the right way.

yea, lining gearboxes up while they still in the car isnt the best thing. I'll be sliding the engine and gearbox in as one when i put the fresh 4k and 5spd in.
