  1. With this project, its not so much about the finished product its actually doing things. I mean, I'm gonna enjoy the finished product, but i really love doing all the technical stuff. I don't see why i have to run a RR reg as I'm doing a Draw thru setup. Neither do i see why upgrading the fuel system seems like a bad thing

    Old Oil?

Sold as oil for fuel then?
  3. Hey mate, good to hear all went well. Hoorah for Jase
  4. If you like tinkering, get either a new master cylinder or a good secondhand one or get another reconditioned. They are pretty easy to swap over, just make sure you bleed the brakes properly. I learnt the hard way.
  5. First off. if you want a 4k and my mate still doesnt want it. you can have my old one which will need a rebuild for the grand price off $50 with a free 4spd. Secondly, brake masters are about $260rrp. i picked one up from Toyoland for $35 easy fix if you have mechanical abilities. I think you live round the corner-ish from me.

Spotted a slanty front ( i think) kesev on Sir James Hardy Way just round the corner from my joint. Had plates SLY-070 which leads me to beleive it may have something lurking under the bonnet...possibly
  10. Luc said to Use just one larger fuse on the larger 12 gauge cables rather than 2 15 ampers after the 12 gauge drops to 2 smaller wires. a larger one at the star of the 12gauge will blow if any of the 12gauge shorts out underneath the car. Or i could just run 3 fuses.
  11. Nah, go for it man. OK, so yesterday morning (saturday) Luc came round and we got to work starting the fuel system install. We ran the loom tube containing 2 12gauge cables to supply power for the lift and fuel pump and also mounted the hi presure pump. Alot of planning went into where the Hi pressure pump would be mounted (behind the rear seat, under the rear seat or in the boot somewhere) Initially it was going to be in the boot then after pulling the rear seat out and debating where exactly it should be mounted we decided to mount it back in the boot. Pretty much on the edge of the spare wheel well, as close to the fuel tank as possible. The original board in the boot covers it pretty well, but needs the vinyl (soon to be carpet) to cover the bracket for the pump. Pics coming soon
  12. You used VB to Bring a shine to your lights?

  16. Not saying they don't have the right to be on the road. But when they have a perfectly good bike lane, which is fine. But when they ride 2 and even 3 wide. And as Ryan said, when they ride around in the dark with dark clothing and no lights on and then complain because noone see them.
  17. AA dries stuff out like shit. LOL happy juice.
  18. hi guys, I'm using a VL/Bosch hi pressure fuel pump and a Lift pump from a VS. Just need to know what Amperage fuses i will need to run for each of them. Even if anyone knows what fuses they run from stock. EDIT: Thanks Darren (KE30 KE35 KE55) for the help. 15ampers should do
  19. Sunscreen? I wouldnt say its overrated, but it is pretty clean :)
