not at this point. someone in adelaide has offered me one for free anyway. just using it to get the holes in the right spot. got the block plate made today.
Cutting supports tomorrow and hopefully get the aircon bracket on friday. drill the holes and oxy the hole in it for the mech fuel pump block off plate.
FINALLY, ive got the ball rolling on the mounts for the SC.
Should have 2 base plates finished tomorrow and start on the actual bracketry tomorrow arvo or later in the week.
can't finad any pics :)
Pretty much a chrome tube rectangle with 4 legs mounting it to the roof. sits about 100mm higher than the roof
I'm sure someone could find a pic.
i was thinking they were more the style that the ke36's had. attaches directly to the roof not the gutters i think. Might look good. just food for thought.
well the filter is mounted under the inlet manifold. behind the alternator and only really acessible from behing the drivers side front wheel or under the car. and to give you more room to work you'd have to take the alternator off. and to get the pivot bolt out of the alternator you have to remove the inlet support.
NOTE TO SELF: Stick with Toyota's
WGMG...
Oil filters on a Mazda MX5. had to take the drivers side front wheel off, stone trays, alternator and manifold suport to get the freakin oil filter off. argh. Luc knows exactly what I'm talkin bout.
Oh yea, when we first got the 4k running i took it round the block twice once each with Jason and Luc. Definatly worth it.
I'm still yet to make new mounts for the SC :P gotta get off my arse and get stuff done at lunch time.
Too True. I mean i too feel sorry for the people that lost things through the fires but is there really a need to broadcast it on EVERY free to air channel? Except on that C31 community channel.
Well that matches up with everything else ive read/ been told.
Theres always the option of keeping this 30 the street driven on and getting another then drop a SC14'd 7K into it, mwahahahaha. oh the possibilities.
