  1. how's about the macca's on albany highway? (not just because it's closest to my place... hehe) I do know 4K's like the wet, so we should meet before all this rain is gone...
  2. Well, i go as fast as i feel anyways... just don't tell the coppers that. How's about that Hungry Jack's idea??? I totally agree that it's better than maccas... please chris please??? Hope we get a better turnout than our cruises... hahaha
  3. The best thing you can do to build some muscle is to get a mate who'll push you harder than you'll push yourself... I used to walk around like a twig in the wind. I would do situps and pushups and chinups all day long, but it wasn't until i started workin out with a good mate of mine who wouldn't put up with my whinging, and who could tell me to 'do one more you lazy sack of s***" that i actually started to see any results. That and lots of tuna and eggs in your diet, but that should be secondary to working out harder than you currently are.
  4. Sounds full of goodness... trouble is, i'm less likely to get pulled over for speeding in a 80+ limit area. I am stuck with night shifts, so sunday afternoon is still always the best time for me.
  5. Dude, i think we'll have to do that as a side note... I am mad keen to see it happen... it'd be sexy!
  6. I HATE front wheel drives... mwahahaha... Though if i had to drive one, it'd have to be a rolla... Bring it on!
  7. YAY!!! what an idea! extreme possibility? i am sure i can scrape together 4 or 5 k over a bit of time for a raceable excel... means we aren't damaging perfectly good corollas... Either that, or same thing with AE92s??? or Holden Novas!!! so many possibilities!!!
  8. So Motorkhanas it is? still going for the KE70 Ute? or would something with a smaller wheelbase be better to throw around? Still got the KE20 sitting around over here.
  9. we could discuss it at out next cruise... BWAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAA!!!
  10. yay! I'm ready and waiting to copy you... is there such thing as a flat front TE72?
  11. I suppose then the question would be, what skills can people bring to the team, what experience do people have, what series would we be looking to get involved in, should we look at starting our own series? I am sure there are a few people who'd love the opportunity to drive, such as myself, but if i am truly honest in my own appraisal of my skills, i'd be better use in the pits. (for now). I'm quite keen on the drift idea, and think it'd be great to see a rollaclub.com drift team here in perth... Shall we leave the individual's car's layout to the individual, and just chip in wherever possible in building them? And what'd be cool team colours??? We have to have team colours!!! My sister is acutally an embroiderer by trade... I could sooo get some team jackets and shirts done up!!!
  12. Wow, it seems like soooo much work. I'm still keen... actually, i had a thought a few months ago... instead of trashing perfectly good corollas, why not have an excel race series??? that way we can crash cars no-one wants anyway! What's the plan of attack fearless leader?!?!
  13. Now that means i'll have to set my T18 up for race... darn... Ok, so what's the final decision for the racecar??? KE70 wagon turned ute with big T-Wing? Where we working on it? would it be an idea to assign different parts of the build to different members, or groups of members, then bring it all together at a later date? What specs are the collective happy with? Here's a few of my thoughts... KE Wagon, cut down to ute, braced rear, dropped, CIG locker, more camber and castor with t-series front suspension, twin headlight conversion (just for porn), either a 4AGTE or something a little more insane, like a 4K-TE??? lots of stickers, sexy paint, rediculous looking front lip spoiler (adapted from a Lancer or something) and 5 inch side exit exhaust. oh, of course a T-Wing that sits higher than the roof is a MUST!!! I got this image of what could pass as a minitruck with the front sitting a little higher than the back... Anyways, i have been working too many long shifts lately, so i'll stop my ramblings and let someone else come up with a more plausable idea.
  14. Sweet! so we got at least one licenced driver. that's handy. NOW TO BUILD THE CAR!!!
  15. Same again!!! i am keen to know how to do this... call me crazy, but i wanna put a flat front on my TE72...
  16. Hey there all... I am sourcing a supercharger for a draw thru setup on my 3T-C and wondering what carb suggestions people might have that'd be relatively easy to tune, could flow enough for 250ish hp at 20 psi and look good under an open bonnet? Oh, and be able to handle a draw thru supercharger setup. (not sure if anything other than re-jetting would need to be done...) I'm trying to find something similar to an Eaton M45 (if i can't get an original) and am aware that i'll need to fully fabricate all manifolds and the like... I'm after something that'll give me the power i am after, while still looking good when the unsuspecting people i've just burnt at the strip request a look under the hood... I'm thinking of twin strombergs or a 400cfm holley sitting high and proud. Also put thought to sidedraught webbers or something... Any suggestions???
  17. Is anyone actually CAMS licenced in any class??? I hear drifting is actually one of the easiest to get into as the rules are rather limited, and it's not considered a 'speed' event, so licencing is heaps easier...
  18. Some people have all the luck! Good luck with the build.
  19. Sounds fun! and a little unusual... what sorta race car should she be??? drift pig with a wing as high as the roof??? mwahahaha!
  20. How about a KE20??? Sherri is off the road and ready to go... imagine THAT with a 4A and 5.1 final drive... sandbags and wheelstands come to mind :) :yak: 8| I'd love to see a "rollaclub perth" team.
  21. Thery were NOT both bog stock!!! one was supreme, the other was falling to pieces... so between them two... yeah, we had two bog stockers... haha. My poor Tamara was just bringing down the standard. but at least i showed! lol. Good thing is i got some nice unused cruise route maps sittin here...
  22. :P Our thoughts and prayers are with you Chris and Liz. Hope everything went well. Ok, well, I guess the show will be limited :S I'll be there anyways. might even cut it short according to public opinion of any who come, but at least we are out there!!! See all at 2!
  23. Well dudes and dudettes... not sure what the go is, my computer has been dead until just this morning... Are we just going to tag along with the MEGA crew? (cheats way to get a big turnout Chris?) I've got something worked out, but i can't do morning... If people do want an exclusive rollaclub.com cruise, slap a reply here and head to Macca's on Great Eastern, the one just south of Tonkin Highway at about 2 pm...
  24. YAY!!! I get to contribute!!! I'll take care of the route and do some nice little maps and stuff!!! we want bbq or anything special afterwards, and how long people want to roll for??? Is Sunday the 29th good for all? that's this sunday...
  25. While mine might look like it's been bush driving, i'm not keen to take her... Maybe we could do a coastal run? or maybe a river run? OH! how's start at Macca's on Great Eastern, down past casino, across the causeway, riverside-mountsbay,hackett, then follow the river around through the burbs ending up down in freo? Just an idea :( I'm out of action for any sunday mornings, but afternoons are cool.
