  1. Now, is that the guards and bonnet swapped across too, or just the lights???
  2. KE25 KID is still arranging for that 3/4K to get sent over, so there'll be a couple of parts to play with too. Does anyone have a vehicle with a towball? Thinking if we get a car trailer from BP or wherever and tow Sherridan from my place over to chrisandliz's.
  3. Sounds like a good idea... can chuck the good stuff you want straight across onto yours. The 24th sounds like a day to plan for too...
  4. Funny thing is, this guy has multiple test items for sale, and no-one has bid on the ones that are only going for a dollar sixty... Is one test item better than another???
  5. Not when we got a half decent KE20 shell laying about. hehe. We would have been able to build it at my brother's but i've already got my TE72 over there. I'm not sure they'd like having two there... they don't have enough room really...
  6. Sweet! I'm sure she'll be happy to donate some nice trim bits to yours chris. hehe Shall we start a new thread outlining the plans and progress?
  7. Does that mean DISCOUNTS???
  8. I was thinking about it, and thought that once i got Tamara the TE72 on the road again, then there's the tow car for the KE20 sorted... Sorted in Team Rolla Colours!
  9. There seems to be two camps here... one saying it's doable, the other saying it won't be possible... How soon can we get pics up to end the debate? (hopefully in my favour... i wanna do this one if it is possible)
  10. Nice TE72... And welcome to the club... there's been an unexpected influx of these little rippers, so hopefully we'll be able to increase the tech section with our combined experiences with the venerable 3T. What are your goals for this beauty? Oh, I love the low rider stylin'!!!
  11. YAY!!! my rolla is not going to make it, but my infinitely more reliable cressida is. thank goodness...
  12. Thanks for the info there damo. I've seen these suckers pull some quick times on the dirt oval, and like you say, the performance potential is there. Do you know if your mate used the wide block or the narrow block engine? Apparently alot of parts from the 4G stable are interchangable... I've heard of a guy who bolted up the turbo/efi setup from an evo onto a 4G Pajero block... goodness knows what power he was making, but apparently it went hard...
  13. Now you talkin my language... 5pm tomorrow at Hungry Jacks... sounds good! See y'all there.
  14. YAY!!! Go Chocobo!!! I thought it was at Maccas??? Go HJ's!!! Hungy Jacks FTW!!!
  15. That is one sweet ride!!! I love the paintwork... sooo smooth...
  16. Oh No!!! Chocobo is sick??? hope she gets better soon... Poor Chocobo.
  17. Anyone need lifts??? My rolla is off the road, so i got the 90' Cressida to roll in...
  18. Welcome cobba As long as you sign a contract (in blood) that you'll attend every rollaclub cruise in Perth... More the merrier... Oh, looking forward to seeing an introduction post and a few pics of your ride :) che che
  19. I'll be there. D Man, if you're free during next week, we could catch up to compare T18 build ideas, and I could fill you in on details of the meet? the joys of working night shifts, I get to do things during the day!
  20. I was hoping no-one else would see that... I WAS going to win it. mostly because i got a perfectly good T28 sitting around, and a 3T-C about to become a 3TTE (I just realised how cool that looks...) So steampipe is the way to go? Anyone know where I can get one made up???
  21. Anyone willing to make an executive decision?
  22. All good... I got nightshift all week, so sat is great for me for a change... hey, you guys need a hand with conversions??? might be a fitting time to talk about such things as racecars...
  23. YES... you bad bad man... lol. Well, if people are keen, I have got a few really quite pretty maps made up. I guess we need to motivate people with more than just our witty humor and good looks... So, ladys and gentlemens, what's a time and date that works for as many as possible?
  24. Easy way to work out how many litres per km... Fill her right to the brim... run around 100km, then refill... the amount that fits into the tank is what you've used to do that distance. For example... I fill the tank of my T18 and drive 120 kms... I then refuel (noting that my tank isn't anywhere near empty... it's only down about a third...) I fill her right to the top, just as i did the first time, and note that i've put in 15.58 litres... then simply take the number of kilometres (120) and divide by the litres used (15.6ish) and it gives you the kilometres per litre... in this case around 7.7km/L
  25. Freo's nice... we could do that darn cruise i planned for last time... it ends down there. lol
