Being told by my coach at the AIF to eat every two hours. YES!! :D
-
So, back on topic ladies and ladettes. When are you next expecting to take the 70 out on track?

Look, I shouldn't complain as I have $3000 locked away in savings. I have a spendings account and a petrol account. It's just frustrating in a sense that I had a heap of bills plus a birthday, two dinners out and some more service items on the car to organize. I'm not much of a spender really. I only earn between $300-$400 p/w right now so I'm aiming to put $200 per week into my savings account, with the rest paying for bills and petrol. Heck, I'm so tight, I'm currently wearing holy shoes AND socks. Aim is to have $10g in savings by this time next year. Not having any holidays or anything or spending up big on anything either. The free work is for family, so that isn't too big an issue for me. Oh, and I just drink instant coffee. So much cheaper. Sigh.. I need protein powder and shoes ASAP. There goes another $120..

Money.. Seems every time I get back to a decent position financially, something happens and bang, byebye savings. I've had to spend 3 weeks pay in the last four days on things I shouldn't have to... Plus i've been doing a lot of work for people for free lately.. Makes saving for a car/house/rainy day just get harder and harder to do..
-
Does that mean it's fast AND can handle? Imagine that..

Camber, and a slut appreciation sticker.

I think it's due to a lot of messed up work hours and study and these last two days i've had lethargy to the point where I cannot function. Think I'm getting sick.. I'll pass :no2:

Sleeping pattern has turned to shit.. Go to bed early and still can't get up before 9.. This is shitting me no end now.

Ahhk, i'll talk to the exhaust guy about it because I just want something that sounds decent. Might even put a dumpy tip on for lols. Basically going to mount it to the rear panel, parallel to the number plate. Even with better globes, it's like reversing into a black hole. If I run a decent light in it, then it'll be a welcome addition and light up everything behind me, rather than the factory position that doesn't show anything in the dark until you've basically gotten to within 5 inches of something behind you. It's going onto a bracket with a pivot, and i'll run a switch under it so it'll also double up as a rear spotlight if ever needed.

Making a third reverse light. Found a driving light casing to use and already have all the mounting hardware. Now all I need to do is get a decent globe and wire it up. Going to route it through the reverse light wire of the trailer plug, splicing it before the plug head. This way, when I reverse, instead of seeing nothing, i shall see everything :) Not sure which way to go globe wise though.. Thoughts?

It's currently got a 2.5" Redback on it. It's OK, but around 3000rpm it drones like all hell. I want an exhaust that has a nice burble and a bit of rasp to it, rather than the hunk of junk on it. So a 2.25 will do me better than the 2.5 around town? Never been overly sure on which way to go. Getting conflicting information about putting headers on too. If I win the set I'm looking at on ebay then I'll put them on and see how it sounds and feels.

Running out of Chicken and vegetable soup. Only had two bowls of it as well :( Chicken was tender, vegetables were just right and the stock it was cooked in was home made and made you salivate at the thought of it. Another WGMG: Waiting for an email from the AIF (Australian Institute of Fitness) to begin my course. Keep checking my emails all day and nothing :(

DO IT! Sort the coolant leak, front brakes and bolt the wing on and have a crack. Worst case you only just nudge the minute flat mark. Flames? I'll go get some marshmallows for roasting

WMMH: Next week I begin the next step in my life. Beginning my Cert III and IV in Fitness :) So excited! Another WMMH is steak. Generally I don't order steak if I go out anywhere because everyone has their own definition of a well cooked piece of meat. I go to the local, and decide, ʞ©$ɟ it, steak time it is. Order it, ask for medium (safer than well done (burnt) or medium rare (still chewing grass). Comes out, flame grilled, brown on the outside, just off pink in the middle. Juicy, but not undercooked. Soft, almost like it's been in a slow cooker. I plan on eating that very meal every week from now on. I am sold. Steak is better than every other food group, it's tasty, filling, good for you and releases endorphins. Next time I may even order two.

This is the ultimate kesev racer. Props for the do it yourself attitude towards the build of this little monster. Oh and that noise it makes, ʞ©$ɟing amazing..

Gave it a hand wash today, woah, so purdy! Going to be looking at getting the exhaust sorted soon, it sounds crummy now, no idea why. All the piping looks fine, might just be one of those things.. Suggestions of what I should do exhaust wise? Ideally i'd be getting it custom made, but alas, no $$$. Lukey system better than a redback system?

If you can keep that RV, keep it. Use it as a parts car. Buy another Corolla with the $3500 and use the smashed one to learn with. That damage looks like it is in quite a tough spot to correct. Easiest option is to just buy something else.

WGMG: Centrelink. Had to change some study details and it took them four hour of my time to organize one piece of paperwork....

What's next on the agenda for the bodywork?

When it rains, it pours! Fantastic base for the ultimate cruiser. You could add roofracks and a surfboard to make it extra cool ;) No plans on engine upgrade as yet?

Saw pictures. Changed undies. Wow.

About time this thing fired up! Progress, at last :)

Yeah I might change my parkers and possibly my high beams. It's more frustrating when I see older cars than mine with much brighter lights and I can't see shit. Poor ute had possums decide to have a fight on the tonneau tonight, little bastards tore two neat little holes in it..

Copped some TLC in the last couple of weeks. Full major service, plugs, leads, oil etc. Car isn't upset on a cold start anymore, which is nice. New rear pads went in on Wednesday, definitely pulls up nicely now. I put Narva +100 globes in a few weeks back, however I'm not super impressed.. Is there anything better that is ADR approved? (Don't feel like getting canaried for HIDs) Some goodies came in the mail yesterday too, new LCA bushes. Front end has a minor clunk on the passenger side occasionally, figured I'd do the first bushes that usually go in the front of these cars before looking for anything more sinister. Otherwise, it's driving smoothly, it's not chewing too much fuel for its size and it's still sucking in all the other wannabe racers at the lights, all of which think I want to drag them. It's an auto six boys, ain't no race car..

Comfort is essential in shitshifting?
