Its comments like yours that gets things locked seriously the mods have already said things will get locked if they go off topic. No offense dude I'm not 100% on the moderators side when it comes to some things and i also think there could be a more mature way to handle things on the moderators part and also us forum junkies i wouldnt call us members since there is no real club. Its been stated so many times by the moderators "Posting is a priviledge, not a right" so ive come to agree its a waste of time, real life is out there not rollaclub. Join a real carclub do track days, play soccer or chess. Its been said this isnt a chat room, so don't post anything if you intend to remotely come close to chat. Not trying to stir the pot but i agree with luke, real answers and no locking please just for the moment and some real mature discussion for once or just don't post at all. So far from here and there what ive heard and seen is there a problem that may need addressing with maturity of how somthings get moderated towards SA forum junkies ? go the way toymods did delete the state sections and turn them into events only ? The GTE doesnt interest me, I'm a lover of the NA and many reasons why i only want the 3SGE which turn into would a old man ranting :dance:. Not interested in the 1.6 when i could have more power from a 2L in standard form. 86kw 4age easy to find, 100kw 4age 16v hard to find. 20v sorry to say (ill get flamed) but i really don't see the point just personal preference sorry guys. 4AGZE is in a class of its own. 3SGE 3rd generation before emission change in 1996 puts out 132kw and to me the torque matters for what I'm going to be trying to acheive. For me this is just something to play with as my next real car will be a GTR. Hope i havent come off as arrogant :) rant

I'm looking into the 3sge I'm guessing it will cost about 4k all up doing the work myself

If you went 4AGZE then 90% of the stuff you need to do the conversion will suit 20v 16v so if you don't like a GZE then you can turbo it or pull the motor out and give a 20v a go ect ect. If your hazards work it wont be the flasher can. could be the contact that is internal in the stalk broken or dislodged would take 2 minutes to swap it out and test with another if anyone willing to donate. just need a spare and no need to remove yours just unplug it and the two screws that hold it to the column. Hope this helps.

I guess us southies will just need to organise more things to do ? yeh cruising out north to a meet point is a pain but i guess all the ideas of a central meet point going unnoticed ? The next cruise i organise will be central as i tend to get a nose bleed once i pass north terrace.

i see your pain dude :) if you really want that engine id use the mounts/gearbox and just get a tail shaft modified that would be cheaper than a bellhousing adaptor/flywheel custom and clutch. last tail shaft i had modified cost 300-400 and then you would be looking at the labour to possible fabricate a gearbox mount or just modify the one that comes with the gearbox and the same with engine mounts the rest is easy fuel is already there and so is electrics.
