looks european but has a mustang bage on the grill on ford on the bonnet and a cobra on the guard ? or mercury cougar for the changed pick

wheels from a mercedes and those side grilles are too ? LH drive might be an american sport pickup of somekind

low cost would be different carby (32/36 weber), cut a hole in the bonnet and ram it into the weber with a K&N, change the oil, run hi octance 98 fuel and slightly adavnce the timing, make sure your tyre pressures are spot on. spend anymore money than this on a 4AFC in my personal opion your better of saving your money for a better performance car such as a AE93 thingo.

so you just need to define the problem, such as during hi rpm in neutral it dies or stutters ? like its not getting any fuel or spark under load ? and when driving once you put the car under stress and load same thing ? could be a number of things start with vacum leaks from every possible point, loose bolts on the manifold body itself and then check the manifold is sealing against the head and carby. Check booster not loosing vac and all other lines gaskets ect. then check your point gap and make sure all wires connected between the dizzy and the coil ect is tight and insulated. fuel filter blocked ? feed line to carby kinked or blocked? fuel pump rooted ? fuel float level shouldnt really be an issue unless the carby has been played about with. check all these and you may find your answer whist checking.

Nice ride, just keep an eye on overheating issues and change every fluid in the car. NA engine shouldnt put too much stress on the gearbox or diff.

I think this is the 1st time ill agree this should be locked :jamie: It has had many questions asked and 90% of which hasnt been directly answered, but hey who's to say it has to be answered. We don't pay to use this site, some dudes which good intentions have made it for us why abuse it. I think if this sort of thing was left unmoderated the site would end up like AE86DC a very inhospitable place.
