And we were worried about the weather?! What a day! Thank you to every one who came along. I thought we might get 50 cars based on the weather, but we had that by about 9.10am! Our count topped out some where between 110 and 120, depending on who left when. A sensational effort! Thanks to all the people that helped direct traffic and rattle the charity tins. Also thanks to Shannons, Caribbean Gardens, Meguiars and the gents who snuck a couple of 86's out the back door at Toyota for us! With so many cars, it was hard to pick favourites, but here is a few. Was the replacement radiator you put in reconditioned? A second hand one could be blocked full of crud and that could be why it is giving you issues when its sitting at the lights. Otherwise everything else you have done should make it better not worse. Last stop is the headgasket which would be rather annoying...

Yep Jells Park was a good venue, so I would be planning on it being in for 2013. That said if we get someone to put their hand up to be Social Secretary in the club, they might have all new ideas :)

Josh it would be nice, but with the limited man power we have and the completely random arrival time of each entrant, it will be difficult to do. I prefer mixed up any ways so that you have to walk around and look at everything to find the gems you are after. Weather is not looking promising :(

Nope its been cut in an effort to keep things shared around all parts of Melbourne. Westies don't get much of a look in so Brimbank Park wins for them over Jells Park.

Hopefully the industrial action from Parks Victoria is sorted in 4 weeks, and we can try again for Brimbank Park in July. September is now at our circuit event at Attwood Driver Training Centre. You can come watch, or have a run! November will be held in conjunction with Classic Japan, at our new bigger, more prestigious venue. Lock that into your calendars now! July 22nd - Brimbank Park, Keilor August 19th - Preston McDonalds Car Park September 23rd - Attwood - Vicpol Driver Training Centre (combined with circuit event here) October 21st - Cranbourne Hungry Jacks Car Park November 25th - Classic Japan, Como Park, South Yarra December 16th - Cars, Christmas and Snags, venue TBA

10 days to go until Winterfest! Don't forget we are also incorporating a swap meet into the day. Bring along any parts you think your fellow enthusiasts might be interested in, bang a sign on them next to your car, and you might go home with more money than what you started the day with.

Ah that is right, I remember having the conversation about saturday and sunday. yes, "qualifying" is on saturday membership is easy, download the form from the club website and post it in.

Due to the ongoing industrial action at Parks Victoria, we aren't able to get a definite yes or no on whether Brimbank Park will be accessible to cars this weekend. As a result we are going to cancel Donuts this week, and will instead hold it in conjunction with All Toyota Winterfest on Sunday June 24th. Sorry for any inconvenience, but at least now you have a bit more time to get your ride "just so" for the show!

Congrats on your gripshiftslide win, that is awesome! Now question for you - TCCAV is running three teams in the Winton 6 Hour. Are you competing? Team Corolla (which is 4 x AE82's and 1 x AE92 currently) could do with a sixth member. You would fit in! Let me know if you are interested?
