Finally got the radiator in tonight, what a drama that was. For some reason, I don't think i got the right radiator. The one i got has two breather holes down the bottom, and the fan shrouding doesn't really line up. So I'm not sure what the G O is there. Haven't driven her this week, which is giving me withdrawls seeing it sitting on my driveway! But Owell, was fun just giving it a quick run about tonight. Will hopefully post pics of how its sitting with new wheels and tyres. If not tommorow, then friday after I give it a good wash. Cruise this weekend hopefully if she is running great!

Well my radiator is in. But i've got a shit cold and i CBF'd putting my gearbox in. So i should be there this sunday as long as i'm not too under the weather. Might not come for the whole drive though, seems like a fairly full on day!

Hey guys, I am using a 4-ac radiator in my KE70 and I have found out the the radiator inlet and outlet on the radiator are different to stock ke70 ones. Can anyone tell me where the 4ac (ae71) inlet and outlet are on their block. A picture would be preferable :y: Thanks! Tim

Like rebuild, block work, head work etc? I went to repco yesterday to see how much it would be to rebuild most of the bottom end and its expensive!! Like $549 and thats just bottom end gear, I was hoping to build this engine for under $1000 but I doubt thats going to happen if i look at carbs, cam, headers, and head work. What sort of rims have you ordered? And speeecccccccs!

I have only got a 4k and i am still loving my car. I can imagine how much you love it with a 5k! Haha So what other progress has been made?

All four rims went on this baby today along with four new tyres. Allignment tommorow arvo. I am also picking up a 5k very soon, so I will start building that up. Matchporting heads, even length headers, maybe set of weber su's on it. Hopefully I will have k50 in this weekend along with the new radiator just in time for the sunny coast cruise. I am in love with this car at the moment :) Hahahaha

Have managed to straighten the steering a bit, but still need some work. Hopefully put a radiator in it sometime this week, also i might trial fit some te71 panels and lights. See how that goes.

Yo yo. My names tim (08ftwyo!) some of you guys might now me, I have only been on the site for a little while and haven't really been a postwhore haha. Anyway, littleredspirrit has been telling me to post my car up, and I've been holding off until I did some decent mods. Anyway, this is my car Stance Wheels Steering wheel does this When two front wheels do this I Think i need a wheel alignment :jamie: Mods so far. King springs all round, xt130 arms, nolathane bush's on sway bar mount, Performance mesh 15x6 with gold centres (back wheels will be on this week), and then going to be running 195/50/ r 15 simes all round. Main idea of the car is just to have a nice daily that will be fun to drive but also won't get me in trouble. Future plans are some ae86 coilovers, velo bucket seat (this week), maybe a roll cage and either 4age or 5k.

For tyre size I used this link, http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html But for ke70's, I am running 195/50 r15s on my 15in meshies and they are about 2mm smaller or something. Closest tyre I could find.

How much did the camber tops set you back if you don't mind me asking. Looks like a good build :cool:

But having said all that about my shit hole of a work. We are desperately in need for technicians, and if i bring someone to our company and they make it past 3 months i get $500.... *hint* *hint* Haha would be awesome to have another corolla driver working at my work. Oh, i forgot to say. I read through this whole build the other day. f@$king attention to detail is second to none...

Driving over that bridge with stock suspension is shit. I'd hate to see guys with their "harder suspension" attempt to drive over it haha

Yea, i've got some 86 coilovers coming, xt-130 arms going in and k-50 with a 5k. If i can find a 5k soon it will be sweet. I've been slowly accumulating parts, but i want to have them all here so i can put them in at once. Like i don't want to put my rona arms in untill i get the rest of my suspension shit so i don't have to keep having to pull all of it apart. So what work have you got planned for the 5k?

Mad. This is alot like what i want to do to mine. Whats your reason for going 5k instead of 4age? I am considering going 5k just because of the fact that at first glance, you can't notice the difference between it and a 4k. I really like this car man, ride height is very nice aswell. Good work, inspiration for me :)
